If I buy one from you Mike and send it to my friend in UK.

Maybe I can fly to UK and pick it up and at same pay my friend a visit  :p

So the question is, is it small enough for me to carry it on the plane or put it in my suitcase?

If you've got a contact in the UK get the monitor shipped there and get them to ship it to you via fedex or something. Probably cost about ?40 to Denmark

If they have more than the industry standard dead pixels it will be returned under your 3 year warranty and replaced. Industry standard is approx 5 dead pixels.
