BBC Broadcasting on the Internet now

Recommended Posts

The BBC are providing a unicast/multicast stream for their BBC1, BBC2, BBC4 and BBC News 24 channels.

BBC2: http://support.bbc.co.uk/multicast/rams/uni/bbc2.ram

BBC4: http://support.bbc.co.uk/multicast/rams/uni/video16.ram

BBC News 24: http://support.bbc.co.uk/multicast/rams/uni/news24.ram

Can anyone outside the UK confirm that these work for them...

Edit: BBC4 Broadcasts from 7 BST.

Edit2: Unfortunately the links don't work anymore, the BBC were performing tests. Hopefully in the near future they will start phasing this out fully.

Real Networks have listened to the public. Real Player is an excellent player now, just try it! No adware/spyware, bloat, speed issues, anything!

Interesting isn't it. They charge me a license fee to watch their biased rubbish on my TV - yet some guy from say America (or wherever) can watch the same stuff on the internet for free.

Working perfectly here in UK. Make sure you click the BBC1, BBC2 BBC News 24 links. BBC4 doesn't start until 19:00BST

Of course, that means you Americans can now watch Eastenders!

So we UK people pay for people outside the UK to watch it now, thats unfair.

then get rid of your TV and watch it on the web -- now you don't have to pay :p
