first off see if the cingular in your area uses 900/1800/1900 because that's what this phone uses.  that's a reason why i can't get it since cingular here uses 850/1800/1900

Well, not exactly. Cingular, for example, uses 850 in some areas, 1900 in some areas, and both in some areas. It varies throughout the country. As long as Cingular uses 1900 (or both) in your area, the phone will work. See http://www.wirelessadvisor.com/ to find out what frequency they use per zip

From what I have read, quite a bit of Cingular's 1900 areas use other companies towers. In your contract, it states that if you roam on these towers too much, they can void your contract. Not sure about the specifics, but it's there.

As a note...I had a T68i, which uses 900/1800/1900. I used it with Tmobile, which only uses 1900 in my area. I had no problem with reception as long as I was within range of a tower.

Can someone help me install the new firmware, i'm having no luck what so ever.

I've installed everything needed to complete the update, it's the part where you have to take the USB cable out, leave the phone for 20 seconds, hold down the "c" button and plug the USB cable back in, it doesn't seem to do anything.

Someone help before i end up killing myself.

I just sold my Motorola V3 Razr and bought this.

Daz, you seriously have a talent for not only buying the hotest gadgets first, but pursuading others to do the same with your reviews.

You did the same things to me on the 7610.

Oh, if only I could make up my own mind and stop being influenced by Dazzla, oh that would be the day.

A+ review bud, and I cant wait to try out the phone.

i just rang o2 again because someone told me 3 where offering 200 minutes x-net and 500 text with the k750 FOC on a 12 month contract for ?15 a month lol, they decided to match the offer i was paying ?15 for 50 minutes x-net and 500 text before i heard people have even got 500 minute x-net and 500 text with a free k750 on a 12 month contract but i think that was pushing it like lol.

Has anyone upgraded to this phone from a K700?

Whats the resolution like, or is it the same? Also have they fixed the damn annoying thing where you send a text throw your phone in your pocket and the damn balance screen is there which you didnt clear, and now you dont get alerted of new texts?

njlouch: Its on pay as you go SIM's. All phones do it, but the K700 doesnt alert you of the new texts until you clear that screen displaying your balance. So you could send a text throw your phone in your pocket, the person replies, and you check your phone 3 hours later and see the balance screen, clear it and only then get the message. It's SO annoying.

Where did you get that info from?

    • I'll wait for the root cause analysis. Looks like it's HP, Lenova, and certain configurations that are askew, hardly "all of windows." Time will tell.
    • Loading Topaz Photo AI freezes my system since this update...
    • I had issues with my NVME, it was running really slow (like 2/3 mb bandwidth) ... had to reverted via System Restore and all is fine now.
