I just got the new Children Of Bodom single, In Your Face. Its ****ing awesome. I really hate the song Oops I did it again, but COB really made their cover of it much better. I guess it's all the growls and pinch harmonics that make it better. The title song In Your Face is unlike anything COB has ever done, well, what I mean is that its more along the lines of the song Sixpounder or Trashed, Lost, & Strungout. It's a great song!!

A pic of me with Dream Theater from Gigantour. Damn, it was hot that day!

I'll post my other pics from that day when I get my film developed. Didn't take the digital with me that day because it's sucks batteries like a two-dollar ###### sucks ...

hahahahaha, what the **** did petrucci do to his hair?

That guy goes through hairstyles like micheal jackson goes through noses

"Jesus is f'ing METAL" LMAO great shirt!

Mike liked it. He laughed and joked, "Neal Morse has that shirt!" Mike's shirt was funny, too. It says "Male Escort Service" on the left patch, and "Dick" on the right. (Y) I think we have very similar senses of humor.

Albums I look forward to:

Korn.

This will be really interesting to hear. The guys are starting the tour in just couple of days, so it shows that the moron didn't do much damage to the band's integrity. And judging by everything posted on Jon's blog, this will be an interesting album, because know they simply cannot risk having a bad album. Aaaarggh, man, I can't wait. The album is scheduled for an October release, with a single coming out in August, and Terry Date is mixing it.

And by moron are you referring to Head? Why are people damning the guy for doing something that he feels is the best for himself and for his family? I used to like Korn a lot, but their style changed too much for me to really like them after Life Is Peachy. I can't condemn Head for his choice to leave the band and to pursue what he feels will make him happier, to be there for his kids, to rebuild his family, and to follow his beliefs. If you ask me, I think he is the biggest man from that group for doing what he did. Everyone in that band will have their own side of the story, and in the end it doesn't matter who says what. Actions speak louder than words.

Indeed, that hair is crazy

I thought it was awesome the first time, when he cut his hair after he had long hair for years... but he's going more crazy by the day, can't really say he looks very metal anymore :p lol

Btw, is it my eyes, or is Mike's beard blue?!

dude, i'm so envious! i got my pic taken with the individual members back during the "images and words tour" - got my pic with kevin. even got them to sign over the pics on the CD.

was this part of a premium or platinum package?

no, are you joking? i gotta keep my eyes out for this one. that would be very interesting and i'm certain they would do a vast improvement to the song.

Yar! hehe...

Awesome. I saw them twice on IAW, but I never hung around to meet them.<kicks self>

Yep. Platinum. I don't recommend it. If you can catch them on tour when they do the Octavarium tour, you'll probably have just as much time after the show as I did, if they show up to sign for fans. The only good thing was having 2nd row-center for all the bands, but that wasn't anywhere near worth the money I paid. So I give an enthusiastic 2-thumbs down for platinum package "experience." The only thing platinum about the experience was the platinum reaming($$) they(FanFire) gave me to have it. Never again.

I am not joking. Just between all of us, the single got leaked 2 weeks early. The only song I dont have that's on the single is the censored version of In Your Face. But I dont really care because I dont want to listen to a censored song.

I'm gonna guess it got leaked because of release parties and they were handing it out, I don't know, just guessing.

well, i think the only thing the platinum package is good for is meeting petrucci. i love the guy and he can do no wrong in my opinion but the last time they were here he refused to come out of the bus and sign autographs because he was too tired. portnoy came out and signed for all the fans but he said that petrucci retired for the evening. if i remember correctly he's done that several times, but what can you say?

well, thanks for the mini-review of the platinum package. i've always wondered about it and i've even considered it a time or two but now i know to steer clear of it.

Can't really blame him, if you just played 3 hours straight. I'm a musician myself and I know how hard it is...

Petrucci also has these things quite fast, Biaxident anyone? ;) They were recording Liquid Tension Experiment 2, and Petrucci got so tired at one point, they had to call an ambulance for him, because he had a severe headache from all the freaking on the guitar. The doctors gave him Biaxin, and so the song Biaxident was born :p

interesting story and it's a great song

586340748[/snapback]

Indeed  Great song, I tried covering it with my band, but the bassguitarist didn't quite feel like it :p Me and the guitarist had already learned the whole song

Btw, I believe this story was in the booklet from the CD... but I could be mistaking... :)

    • Google begins rolling out its post-Epic Play Store billing model next week by Karthik Mudaliar Google has confirmed that its redesigned Play Store billing and fee structure will take effect on June 30, 2026, in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Economic Area. The changes will let eligible developers offer their own payment systems or send users to an external website for purchases, while separating Google’s platform service fee from the cost of using Google Play Billing. The rollout puts concrete dates and detailed rate cards behind the broader Android policy overhaul Google announced in March. That announcement followed a proposed settlement with Epic Games intended to resolve their long-running disputes over app distribution and payments, although the U.S. portion of the agreement still requires court approval. Under the new billing choice program, developers selling digital content or services can display an alternative payment option alongside Google Play Billing. They may also direct users to their own websites to complete a purchase. Developers can use Google’s standard payment-choice screen or design one that complies with the company’s user-interface rules. Choosing another payment processor does not eliminate Google’s cut altogether. The company will continue charging a service fee for transactions associated with apps distributed through Google Play, regardless of whether payment is handled by Google, an alternative provider, or a developer’s website. Google argues that this fee covers the value and infrastructure provided by Android and the Play Store. For developers earning up to $1 million annually, the service fee will generally be 10 percent. That rate also applies to auto-renewing subscriptions. When Google Play Billing is used in the U.S., U.K., or EEA, Google will add a separate 5 percent billing fee, and developers processing payments elsewhere will not pay that additional charge. This means Google’s familiar flat 30 percent commission is disappearing, but developers will not necessarily see a dramatic reduction on every transaction. An in-app purchase from an existing user processed through Google Play Billing can still reach a combined 30 percent. The biggest savings are likely to come from subscriptions, smaller developers covered by the $1 million tier, and companies able to move customers to their own payment infrastructure. Google is also offering lower rates through its Apps Experience and revamped Games Level Up programs. Apps and games that satisfy the company’s requirements can qualify for 15 percent service fees on new-install transactions and 20 percent on existing-install transactions. The criteria include performance and reliability standards, support for additional Android device categories, and selected platform features. Those program rates are scheduled to become available in the initial markets and Australia on September 30. For consumers, the immediate effect will depend on whether developers adopt alternative payments and pass any savings on through lower prices. For developers, however, June 30 begins a more flexible but considerably more complicated Play Store economy in which distribution, billing, install dates, revenue thresholds, and program participation can each affect Google’s final cut. Google is also separately developing a Registered App Stores program designed to simplify the installation of qualifying third-party stores. That initiative is expected to arrive with a major Android release later in 2026 and will launch outside the U.S. first. Google says the rest of the world will receive the changes by September 30, 2027, although billing rates for markets outside the US, UK, and EEA have not yet been announced.
