i can't remember all of them, but the atmosphere was not right,  the missions were less fun,  there were less random missions (like remote helicopter), the setting was off....

not sure really.    the GTA III games (well, the original was ok,  but the 2 - vice city and san andreas)  were so much fun!    after 10 hours in GTA IV, i did not feel much fun.

original Mafia game was amazing too (another game similar to gta)     mafia II was crap though...

different gameplay.. well not crap, it was still ok, but after setting your expectation by the game you love.. it was not as fun.

Just watched a few vids etc for sleeping dogs, and from tomorrow I think I will be playing it lol! Its still ?20 on steam though but it does look good.

I will maybe play GTA IV for a while to see what I think before buying anything. :) im too impatient to wait for GTA V, I just want something "like it" that I haven't played before haha

Currently playing Final Fantasy X on my trusty old PS2, trying to do all the things I didn't do when I played through as a kid. Just finished getting all of the Al Bhed Primers about 10 minutes ago, :D

So many new experiences on this play-through that I didn't get last time. Baaj temple, the al bhed primers, it's almost like playing it again for the first time because last time I played was 10 or more years ago and I just burned through, killed Sin and called it quits.

Smash Bros. Wii U

It takes quite a bit of getting used to playing with the gamepad but slowly and surely I'm getting better with it. Would definitely rather have the GameCube adapter so may have to buy one down the road.

Game is fantasitc though  Can't decide who to main but Toon Link and Diddy are favourites.

Grid Autosport

Enslaved (chasing steam achievements)

Walking Dead Season 1

Typing of the Dead Overkill (gotta keep those wpm over 90)

Lately all I've been playing is Chaos Reborn. It's quite addicting. Not recommended for people who dislike random chance or chess. It's skill-based but bad luck can completely ruin you even against the worst players. It's pretty well all about risk assessment. Still though, I'm addicted lol.

Picked up Call of Duty 4 recently on PC again, been a long time since I played it and the PC community is still fairly active. Great fun.

Also playing:

Mario Kart 8

Crypt of the Necrodancer

Assetto Corsa

Slowly playing through Halo The Master Chief Collection doing split screen co-op at weekends with a mate.

I must admit the re-mastered Halo 1 and 2 look stunning. However we had both forgot how boring and tedious a lot of the Halo and Halo 2 campaign is. In Halo 1 theirs so much copy and pasting in the level design. I remember now why I only originally owned the first two games for the multiplayer.

I am looking forward to getting some 4 player co-op on Halo 3 and 4 going though, i loved the campaign on both those games.

I'm going through Kingdom Hearts  1.5 + 2.5 Remix in order.

Currently just started Kindgom Hearts 2.5. Also trying to get close to 100% on each. It has been years since i played any of these. So it is like a new game to me.

On PC i'm currently This War of Mine. Brilliant game and such a bleak tone. It even makes me feel depressed playing it

A game has never really done that to me. Especially the many survival games out there.

Started attempting to get though my list of shame (Steam) as of late.

Playing:

Final Fantasy IV (Steam)

Final Fantasy VII (Steam) - Just gearing up to beat Ruby & Emerald.

Final Fantasy VIII (Steam)

Final Fantasy XIII (Steam)

Final Fantasy X (PlayStation 2) - Remaster arrived today for the PS3 but mine needs to be replaced or BGA re-balled now (Bloody Crysis 3!).

Crysis Warhead (Steam)

Crysis 3 (PS3) - Until freeze of death (Curses to RoHS!)

NFS Hot Pursuit (Steam)

Completed recently:

Crysis 2 (Steam)

Crysis (Steam)

NFS Most Wanted (PS3)

Metal Gear Solid 2: Subsistence (PlayStation 2) (PlayStation 20th thing)

Metal Gear Solid (PlayStation) (PlayStation 20th thing)

Finally getting around to completing some 360 games I've had lying around.

Played through Dead Island a few days ago and really liked it, and massively late to the party but getting through The Walking Dead series. Loving it so far (playing through Episode 4). Can't wait to get through Season 2 too!

Elite Dangerous.. still

I love these system invites where you're supposed to receive an important communique when you get there, except the invite doesn't show up in your quest log and you can go there but don't get contacted at all.

I'm on Elite: Dangerous and Warframe myself.  Mostly.  And some Mass Effect 3 MP, which seems to be surprisingly still going strong.

  • Fable 3 (PC)
  • Sonic 3 & Knuckles (SEGA Mega Drive)
  • Alex Kidd in Miracle World (SEGA Power base Converter + SEGA Mega Drive)
  • Cut The Rope 2 (Android)
  • Shadow Warrior Classic Redux (PC)
  • NFS Most Wanted (PC)

    • OpenAI is now rolling out Lockdown Mode to more ChatGPT users by Pradeep Viswanathan Back in February, OpenAI first announced Lockdown Mode for users who want the most comprehensive protection from potential attacks. At the time of the announcement, the company mentioned that this feature was available to a small set of highly security-conscious users, including executives or security teams at leading organizations. Today, OpenAI announced that Lockdown Mode is now rolling out to all personal ChatGPT accounts, including Free, Go, Plus, and Pro, and also self-serve ChatGPT Business accounts. Users can enable the feature from ChatGPT Settings > Security when it is available for their account. When Lockdown Mode is enabled, ChatGPT limits or disables several features that connect to the web or external services. These include live web browsing, Deep Research, Agent Mode, and more. Here is the complete list of services that will be disabled in Lockdown Mode: Live web browsing: Web browsing is limited to accessing only cached content. Search results may be limited, unavailable, or stale. Image support: ChatGPT may not display images in regular responses or retrieve images from the web. Users can still upload image files, and image generation remains available where it is otherwise available. Deep research: Deep research is disabled. Agent mode: Agent mode is disabled. Canvas networking: Users cannot approve Canvas-generated code to access the network. File downloads: ChatGPT cannot download files for data analysis. ChatGPT can still operate on your manually uploaded files. It is important to note that Lockdown Mode does not completely block prompt injections from appearing in content that ChatGPT processes. For example, a malicious instruction could still be present in an uploaded file or cached web content. However, the mode is designed to reduce the ways such an attack could send sensitive information outside the conversation. Along with Lockdown Mode, OpenAI today also announced that the Active sessions feature is now available across ChatGPT accounts and workspace types. This feature allows users to review where their account is signed in across devices and end sessions if required. A session will have the following information displayed: Device or browser information. First-party app context, such as ChatGPT, Codex, or API Platform. Approximate location. Sign-in date and time. Whether the device is a trusted device. Whether it is your current session. OpenAI highlighted that the Active sessions feature will not be available for accounts linked to an organization’s single sign-on setup, including SAML or OIDC.
