It is funny, I waited years for GTA V PC... but since its release I'm only about 22% through the single player (according to the save game dialog) and haven't really touched multiplayer. It is just... I don't have the time to dedicate to just playing a game, I usually mulittask... and GTA has loooooong stretches of "sit and watch" or "complete repetitive menial tasks" between the action.

I've also been trying to get the hang of dogfighting in Elite: Dangerous, but as with GTA, I don't have the stretches of time.

I like Minecraft because I can multitask easily while doing it. Tried going back to Civ 5, but the AI is just facepalm. I wish there were a game like Civ that wasn't based so much on combat.

I found such a beatiful platformer , it's called '' Ori and the blind forest '' .

Does everyone else play it ?

it is ok.   i looks great.  and the platform mechanics work good.

yet i got bored of it pretty early.   looking good was not enough to keep me entertained for more then 1 hour.

i liked Guacamelee much better. Now that platromer was ENTERTAINING to me.  Same for Shovel Knight. Another AMAZING platformer.

Guacamelee was fun , Ginx guys played it .

Bloodborne, mostly. Helldivers occasionally.

I'm attempting The Witcher (1) again, in an effort to complete it for the first time before Wild Hunt comes out. But it's not going to happen. I've resolved to not buy Wild Hunt until I actually finish both 1 and 2, so maybe that will motivate me to finally beat them. But their combat is so terrible, it's hard to force myself through it. We'll see.

One of the reasons I really like playing old games. They stay true to the point and I can jump in and out or do other things without worrying about starting some long mission that I have to sit through just to make it to the save point.

Which of course is also the reason I have a subscription to Cheathappens for games that I don't really have time for in order to complete. I used a trainer in FC4 just to avoid the BS fluff and still see what the game had to offer.

i could not make myself to play witcher 1.   after playing witcher 2 and reading reviews for 1 and checking out youtube, i don't think you should force yourself with it.

witcher 2 however, is plain awesome.    i just skipped most potions and put all my level ups in signs and a bit into sword.      thenthe gameplay was perfect for me.

alchemy was a mess. could not enjoy making all the potions at all.

something like that might help.    made my second play-though much more fun.

Hah, thanks. I'll give it a try. (Y)

edit: that article has some pretty good tips in it. Since I'm not planning on importing my saved games into The Witcher 2 or Wild Hunt, maybe it's worth skipping 1 since I'm not enjoying it all that much.

If I buy a XBOX One , I have to buy a TV/Monitor too ?

inly if you have not already got a 1080p tv set in your home.

yeah, witcher one is a whole new kind of mess.

they fixed it in witcher 2 and i have high hopes for witcher 3.     but number 1 can safely be skipped.          just read the wiki for story if you must.

    • The consumer ESU is ending in 4 months. LTSC isn't now, never has been, and never will be for consumer use, it is for OT usage - plant machinery, medical devices, manufacturing equipment etc. LTSC requires a Microsoft EA. You can't legally obtain LTSC to run on your PC at home.
    • Hmm actually looks decently interesting!
    • Being on GitHub doesn't make something safe. Like any unofficial scripts to do x or y this caters to people with just enough knowledge to be dangerous. If you want to do what this does, and you actually know what you're doing then write your own script (or maybe just add the reg keys yourself) if you don't have the ability to read and understand what a script is doing, and especially don't run it with elevated privileges. Or in this case just use an MSA, sign up the normal route, and stop trying to push water up hill
