it wouldn't matter today, Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection is having technical dificulties at the time.

check back @ http://www.nintendowifi.com to see when the technical dificulties are over with.. i guess they got a much bigger load than they expected.

Oops..?

hopefully they get the issue resolved soon..

Why is Nintendo telling us to not post friends codes?

Probably to protect some kids from adding random people. I believe they only want you to play with people you phisically know, which kind of takes away part of the beauty of online gaming.

But I would think it should be more of a sugestion than a rule.

I think it was Reggie who said that gamers in japan are hesistant of online play because they dont want to be harassed by random people. It appears to me that Nintendo is trying to prevent random harassment as much as they can with the structure of their wifi network. Thats probably why they dont want people's friends codes all over.

Its weird how much they're restricting this though, not even through PMs can they do it.... strange.

They're able (aloud?!) to look at PMs? Sorry if it's known to everyone except me, but that's surprising.

They could forward it to a mod, like on this board. The rule is stupid.

I got the game! :D So much fun and it's an EXCELLENT DS game. I have had few problems with the "Nintendo wifi connection" except for once, when the game froze for a bit and then said something about being disconnected. Other than that, though, it's been great overall.

My friend code is

541225

461848

I'll probably be using the nickname Oren (dt) :) (with that smiley on the end)

    • Windows 95 offered the ability to add and edit the right click menus, on a per file type basis. This feature seems to be missing in the new file explorer. Are they bringing it back as a "new" feature?
    • It's nearly time to replace my aging Founders Edition 3080, it doesn't OC as nicely as it used to and it's running around 10c warmer than it did when I first bought it.  I don't have budget for much more than what I spent on the 3080 and locally, that means the best GPU I can manage is a 9070XT. On this basis I have a few questions: 1. At present I don't use ray tracing, if this was to change, would this GPU be an issue? 2. How does it compare on a performance basis? 3. Are the drivers worse or better than those for nVidia? 4. Linux support, is it there? 5. Anything else I should be aware of if I were to make this change? 6. Is it a good idea or shall I try and keep the 3080 a little longer.
    • What OS is that? It looks a bit like Mac OS but the command line suggests it isn't, either way I like it!
    • Outlook classic is inherently better than new outlook, for a number of reasons. That said, if the only reason people need office is to read email, they should just use thunderbird.
