Is it possible to set up mario kart to connect to my network through my wifi card on my PC instead of an access point

I have to say unfortunately more than likely no, on the nintendowifi.com they mention wifi routers not a single wifi card, I'm not sure a wifi card is capable of sending out the signal itself, maybe only recieving it. Think of it like this, you can't route another pc throught that wifi card nor can you route a ds through it.

In my experience, no. It won't connect to ad-hoc networks right now.

However, some wifi card manufactures have started using software from pctel that can actually turn the card into an access point, instead of having to resort to ad-hoc. That method will work. Unfortunately that software didn't support my Ralink chipset.

Yes you can

If it didn't how could you upload any data?

What software/drivers (whatever it is) do you know of?

Im surprised this topic slipped so far down.

Just wondering, does anyone else have a problem finding opponets? I think it may because of my college's internet connection, or the router I'm using, but it takes a long time to find opponets

Anyway...

Takes awhile for me, usually no more than 2 minutes to find opponents.

Hm... yeah around 2 minutes is what I get.

Damn I just got my ass kicked by Mario with the Dry Bomber kart..... holy crap o_o I have to learn how to snake better I guess ;D

    • I spent a good 15 min today trying to get new Outlook to use my default browser instead of forcing links into Edge. That kinda tactic is shady and it sucks.

    • Also try installing an alternative browser on ChromeOS. You have to enable dev mode and run it as a Linux app. Clunky.
