[Shell Patcher] Tango Icons for Windows

Recommended Posts

No it doesn't work :(

Can you please check what the problem is?

When you use the silent switch it just hangs or it's an endless cycle... I'm not sure...

It works for me, just executing it as a standalone command. What are you doing to get it to not work silently? Trying to use nLite to integrate it?

No way to edit my post, so I have to write a new comment:

At the end of the day it works but when using the silent switch it takes a while to install (~2-3 minutes).

But the most import is it WORKS and it ROCKS :yes:

I hope you don't mind if I set a post with this pack as an addon in the nLite's addons forum.

Later I will provide a link, so that you can tell me what you think ;)

Keep up the good job!

I don't use the drive meter thing myself, but I made some Tango drive icons. Enjoy.

And some more icons... yeah, just slapping some images together, but I wanted some emblemated icons, and I thought I'd share.

don't forget to add these to pack

Hmmm, not a bad skin. I don't know why he calls it Ubuntu Tango. That is kind of misleading. I like the icons in the toolbars. Was gonna add those to my skin in the coming week myself. At least the dude got it up on the Mozilla Addons page. It's such a pain to upload something on there.

a suggestion for the ff themes: why dont u make the bookmark button a red heart?

From what I can see, the Tango Project has a specific icon for Bookmarks (the page with the...bookmark over it) but that doesn't mean it can't be changed. The Tango Project uses the red heart for OS Favorites. Kind of the same thing as bookmarks, right? I might add the heart to some parts of my skin.

those icons are great, I'm using them right now. Is there a tango visual style :rofl: ?

Cairo VS for Tango

Human for Tangorine

Clearlooks VS

:p

i have one question and can't seem to figure it out how do i get the time to show like you have it in the screenshots?

Do you mean this ?

There is no Tango VS, really... just Gnome and KDE skins (I personally prefer Plastik over Clearlooks, for the record). Klarheit's pretty much inspired by it, IIRC, and it even uses my Windows flag drawing... so for you guys, I guess it counts.

can anyone kindly tell me what is the basic "blue" color used mostly in Tango Icons (RGB)

i want the active window title and the desktop backgroud on windows classic theme with the same color

i ll mod it with display properties - appearance - advanced

thanks in advance

Take a look at the palette. There's three "basic" shades to branch off from:

what are the RGB for those 3 blue colors, i ll check all of them and chose one :rofl: :laugh:

thanks!

EDIT

i guess i ve done it myself

729fcf = 114/159/207

3465a4 = 52/101/164

    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know The ONLY thing I need to know is the price, which I know will be way higher than I (and most people) are willing to pay for a phone... so basically nothing here I need to know. PS: Nice job getting that Apple reference to a non-existent and unrevealed product as "competition" in there. Cheque is in the mail.
