Appreantly the SD card sticks out.

That photo isn't of the SC, that's just someone sticking a transflash card into the GBA slot, to show how much it would stick out, if it rests on the connector in there. However, the SC Lite has the transflash slot right up against the top of the card, so it goes above the connector, meaning it can still fit all the way in.

EDIT: This photo shows how close the transflash slot is to the surface of the cart:

There's been a video posted on the Official Supercard Site.

The good: It runs the Castlevania intro with no slowdowns.

The bad: The plastic is much cheaper than that of the G6 Lite.

Are the saved games actually saved onto the Mini-SD for these newer types of flash cart, or are they held in memory with a Li-ION battery?

They are saved on the SD card. The battery is for the RTC (real time clock) in some games.

Hm...I wonder when does Realhotstuff ships the SC Lite as u can order right now.

Question:

How do I connect MicroSD with my computer? For MiniSD I just use the SD shell it came with, and plug it in my digital camera, and move files via the camera-computer connection. Will MicroSD have a SD shell too?

From their board on the SCDev.org forums, the RealHotStuff rep said that they should be getting the shipment of SC Lites on Friday; so hopefully they'll ship out on Saturday.

My MicroSD card came with an SD adapter, so I guess if you're going to get a SanDisk 1GB, yours willl too.

Now, i have read the thread, but i have a question that i don't think has been really answered.

I'm looking for a flashcart that works in both the DS and a plain 'ol GBA, I know the G6 lite is like that (one case for the DS Lite, one for the GBA), but i'm looking for something with more memory, or that is expandable (via Micro-SD or such)

Any other cart's like that (if not, thanks, i'll just get a Supercart then)

...

if you come and pick it up here in belgium it's yours ;)

Uh, yeah, sure, right after i feed the penguins in the Arctic.

I would love one that is the same size as the Lite's slot filler, but it's really not that important, i dnn't mind it jutting out at all.

kevinc has updated his beup MSN client. The new version sports a new GUI, more accurate keyboard, smileys, and display pics, along with other small tweaks. You can get it here (about half way down the thread).

That new version is awesome! It's better than the msn client for pocket pc.

I have the M3 MiniSD and I used beup.ds.gba under rein-patched libs. It says it's also compatible with SCSD so it might work with SCMiniSD. Try beup.nds. Make a backup of your minisd just in case ;)

Yep, that's the one. Just rename beup.ds.gba to beup.nds for Supercard.

    • Wow, imagine you dump hundreds of hours into completing things and unlocking stuff and you lose it all. Back in the day when cheats were built into games, you could at least unlock things again that way without spending hundreds of hours again. But those days are long gone for some reason as no one builds cheats into games anymore. So it's even more painful that studio that's on its 6th installment **** it up so badly.
    • Spotify finally removes the disco ball app icon in the latest update by Ivan Jenic Image: Spotify Spotify has just released an update that removes its now infamous disco ball icon. The update reverts the app icon to the familiar flat green logo after weeks of mixed reactions online. The icon arrived on May 13 as part of the company's 20th anniversary celebration and was always intended to be temporary, though Spotify only confirmed that after the backlash started. The disco ball took the internet by storm, as the reception was split. A vocal group of users called it ugly and disorienting, with some iOS users noting that the 3D glowing effect made the app look like it was stuck mid-update. On the other end, the icon picked up a following of its own. Its retro, three-dimensional look immediately stood out against the flat, minimalist aesthetic that has dominated app design for years. It even started a small movement, spawning what people started calling "discomorphism," a mashup of disco and skeuomorphism. Other brands started posting disco ball versions of their own logos, probably in an effort to ride the wave of memes that flooded the internet during late May. Spotify has had a turbulent relationship with its user base lately. Besides the disco ball icon, which certainly wasn't appreciated by everyone, the company has also received backlash for its willingness to include AI-generated music on its platform. On May 17, Spotify promised the old icon would return “in a few weeks.” And now it looks like that time has finally arrived. So, whether you liked the disco ball or it made you uncomfortable, it’s now gone for good. The next time you update the Spotify app on your phone, the old, flat-design icon will return.
