I think they were referring to the character names, not the actors.

The mob boss' nicname is Gambol, but I can't find a name.

Can somebody tell me the real names of

- Black prisoner who threw the detonator out the boat window

- Black mob boss who joker tricks and then kills?

Not quite ;)

For those that have a short memory, Tommy "Tiny" Lister is the guy that played Deebo in Friday and Next Friday. He's been in quite a few movies:

Also, the character he played in The Dark Knight didn't have a name, it's just listed as Tattooed Prisoner.

Me & two other guys in the theater yelled out "Deebo" when he first appeared.

Johnny Depp and Philip Seymour Hoffman have been linked to roles in the sequel to The Dark Knight.

According to the National Enquirer, Depp has been tipped to play villain The Riddler, while Hoffman may be cast as The Penguin.

"[Producers] are convinced that the role of the Riddler is perfect for Depp," said a source. "Johnny's a pro. He'll be able to take direction from director Chris Nolan and still make the character his own.

"And what better Penguin is there than Philip Seymour Hoffman?"

Jim Carrey played the The Riddler in 1995's Batman Forever, while Danny DeVito was The Penguin in Tim Burton's Batman Returns.

Mary-Kate Olsen had to leave a showing of The Dark Knight because seeing Heath Ledger on screen was too upsetting.

Olsen, a friend of the late actor, believed she would be able to watch the film but left a weekend screening after only 20 minutes when she found it too distressing.

"It got to be too much for her," a source told Life & Style. "She wanted to go unnoticed, but people recognised her and started whispering. She felt really weird.

"Between dealing with Heath on screen and with everyone around her, she couldn't take it. So she left."

Olsen was rumoured to be dating the actor when he died from an overdose of prescription pills in January.

It later transpired that his masseuse had called her four times upon discovering Ledger's body in his New York apartment.

I like the idea of the Nolans to try a new Villian from the comics that has not been to any of the batman films before.....makes it more surprising or even doing 1 of each...the riddler and a new guy who hasn't been on film yet but is in the comic books.

you have to watch this... LOL

It's the WHOLE smallville tv series comicon 2008 conference??

They take open questions from the audience...and guess who should appear in the last 2 minutes near the end.... BATMAN in full costume. ROFL

Skip forward to 2:16 left in the conference to hear him ask the question in the deep voice and near gets his ass kicked out by security. :jump:

LMFAO. That's funny as hell. I wish I had a batman costume :( I need the new one though so I can turn my neck lol.

my guess is if he sarcastically mouthed "ten" like some people think he did...the guy he was trying to agitate would not understand what if he was implying or saying.

I hope on the dvd it shows how he got out of the room. My guess is the knife in the shoe :) I doubt the guard had a knife on him, so the Joker must of had it hidden on him

How he escaped :)

When batman pushed the joker into the one way mirror shards where scattered everywhere, when you see the joker mouth the word six you can see a large shard of glass just by his head :)

    • Google DeepMind published a document on June 18, 2026, that may be the most consequential admission yet from a frontier AI lab: alignment training alone cannot guarantee that AI agents will remain under human control, so structural containment must be built before more capable models arrive.............. https://www.techtimes.com/articles/318758/20260620/google-deepmind-ai-control-roadmap-when-alignment-fails-defense-depth-takes-over.htm
    • I've got a SoundBlasterX G6 that I use in my streaming setup. Sounds great to me and I've had zero issues with the ancient software package so far in Win11. That G6 has 7.1, Dolby, fully working SPDIF and since it's a USB device it's outside of my rig so I don't have to worry about EMF distortion. Looks like for now this is a pass for me as I think I have better hardware....
    • How do you connect 5.1 Speakers to this thing?
    • I agree with both of you... It's absolutely imperative that science is completely based on actual proven facts and hard evidence and is not considered dogmatic in any way. Science is not a religion and it will never be, and that's exactly how it's supposed to be.
    • I'd basically agree. The only point I would add is to be careful not to treat science as a religion, complete with priests, dogma, and blasphemy. Humans are highly susceptible to religious-oriented ways of thinking since it aids in forming communities of like-minded people. The problem is that when this happens, nobody wants to be ostracized from the group by saying that a deeply-held idea is wrong. Science and "peer review" are not immune to this behavior, unfortunately. In the end, finding truth is our own responsibility and we can't depend on others to hand it to us. Skepticism is key, along with curiosity and the willingness to critically evaluate and consider ideas both new and old.
