i dont see why everyone is complaining about the OEM licensing and the retail?

sure id rather have retail but does it make a difference? DELL and other manf. give out OEM versions and they are so much easier to install and activate.

wouldnt it be better for OEM version?

It may be a "new day" but when the IRS found out, they wanted to tax anyone who receives both the OS and Office. Getting only one is below their limit on gifts. At nearly $800 US for the pair, that was no longer the case.

Taxs on "in kind wages" or so they have determined. Clearly, Microsoft didn't think about this angle when the program went live.

Boo on the IRS. :cool:

      If Ford would stop hiring SUITS to run the company, and put CAR GUYS back in charge perhaps they could do better. Heck, the only CAR they produce today is the Mustang. Hey Ford! Not everyone needs/wants an overpriced SUV or pickup truck that is so tall you have to have a step ladder to get in and out of it.

      Amazing how some will just jump all over something. Probably the same people that thought Musk was a "tech god" before he saddled up with "bad orange man". Before, they worshiped at his feet, including a lot of so called hollywood types. Now, because he fell off the plantation truck, they toss him under the bus.
