i dont see why everyone is complaining about the OEM licensing and the retail?

sure id rather have retail but does it make a difference? DELL and other manf. give out OEM versions and they are so much easier to install and activate.

wouldnt it be better for OEM version?

It may be a "new day" but when the IRS found out, they wanted to tax anyone who receives both the OS and Office. Getting only one is below their limit on gifts. At nearly $800 US for the pair, that was no longer the case.

Taxs on "in kind wages" or so they have determined. Clearly, Microsoft didn't think about this angle when the program went live.

Im in DC and nothing... While MS has distro centers in the Midwest, this is not normal stock as the CD shows. I would guess those in the west will receive their software first.
