Just a FYI...... I tried installing the Vista Business Edition I got on a 64-bit system and I see that the 32-bit is all that is on the DVD. I had to download the 64-bit edition and then use my product key to get the right OS on my box......

Yeah that was established earlier ... there should be a link on a piece of paper that came with Vista that guides you to a form you fill out to get the 64-bit media. The website wasn't functioning yet though.

Nice to see people getting Office/Vista packages. I wish I had sent my W-9 in a bit earlier. I would probably be getting my stuff too. Anyone have any pictures of the Vista/Office combo packaging?

Someone in Illinois over in the FatWallet forums got their Vista/Office combo pack today. So hopefully that means that those that did both offers will be getting theirs either tomorrow or early next week.

Whooohooo! Shouldn't be long then. I'm waiting for my free copy of Solaris too. The anticipation is killing me! :)

Just got BOTH my Office and Vista in the same envelope today. And here I thought those of us who had to submit a W9 would have to wait longer. :D

Nogib - where are you located? Just curious so I know how much longer it might be for the combos to get to South Carolina.

MN, and I had snail-mailed my W9 instead of faxing no less.

Well, that makes sense since they're shipping them from MN. So that must mean they shipped the first batch of Office/Vista combos yesterday. Looks like Monday will probably be my earliest day to receive it.

Oh well, if that's the case, I'll still get it before Tuesday's retail launch!

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 changelog: Uses electron 42.5.0 #2452 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.6.
