C_Guy
Toll go play on Vista (beta) and stop trolling Apple threads Ummm that "toll" said he was buying one??? But he has a point. A phone that plays mucis is very much not a new idea. corrosive23
Only 8GB? Man, that suits me fine! Plus, you have to remember the resolution for movies for it shouldn't be huge, so I don't expect them to be too large of a file size. Honestly, it's the ability to play full-length movies on the phone that's impressive. Why be greedy right now? It's still early. It's Apple... you know there's going to be upgrades along the way. So we should gladly take a halfass offering because its apple? That sounds like the PPC days of apple. lardiop Veteran Posted January 9, 2007 Veteran Share Posted January 9, 2007 Hold the train here, On Engadget it says that they announced 3 different iPod devices. Does that mean we'll get a larger non-phone iPod with the widescreen? John S. Veteran Posted January 9, 2007 Veteran Share Posted January 9, 2007 Really? Cingular Wireless is the largest wireless company in the United States, with more than 58 million subscribers who use the nation's largest digital voice and data network. Cingular is dedicated to providing customers with wireless technology designed to enrich their lives. Lycan
Without a doubt... what will Nokia, Sony, et al do to try and match it? Nokia is coming with N95 with 5 megapixel this year, all these other phone brands will prolly pump their camera megapixel up and and more memory for music. Still i doubt it will all be innovative as the iPhone. boogerjones
Cingular is larger than Verizon... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mobil...twork_operators Cingular is not even close to Verizon. I don't care what that article says. Verizon, ATT, and Bell are all absolutely enormous compared to Cingular. They are all the result of huge mergers and purchases. +StevoFC MVC Posted January 9, 2007 MVC Share Posted January 9, 2007 Why, if verizon gets it they will disable half the features. well maybe because everyone i know uses verizon, and i use my phone very often. since it's free to call them i don't need to spend a ton on money on my calling plan. AJerman
Cingular got the boost over Verizon by merging with AT&T. The network is huge, almost everyone I know uses it and I wouldn't use any other. Cingular is not even close to Verizon. I don't care what that article says. Verizon, ATT, and Bell are all absolutely enormous compared to Cingular. They are all the result of huge mergers and purchases. AT&T IS Cingular now. This happened like a year ago lol.
