The REAL game starts... (Puzzle Box 1)

But it seems contacting isn't working very well..lol..I get bounce backs when I try to send to any of the addresses.

EDIT

I finally got something back from '[email protected]'

Hmmm. Not quite what I had in mind. Try harder - then listen closely.

~L

...and now I've got the one from Aaron.

hmmm...wonder why I got failures the first time.

You know...I received both the "work/play" email and the "try harder" email, but haven't received any of the extra ones that have been received, such as the Aaron email...strange...

She says she was contacted by recruiters...... That I Know of you do not refer to normal job contacts as recruiters the only people I know of as recruiters are sports people and military people. Clue ? or Does she just just have a intresting way of speaking.

Also I would like to bring up a suggestion. If it wouldn't be to much trouble, I think that a hint to kinda get you on the right path, like the morris code one for the reapir table would be nice before the anserw on the Wiki page would be very helpfull. Alot of the time I am just trying to find a new perspective to look at the puzzle from and not the anserw it is more rewarding to get the anserw yourslef in my opinion. Thank you for all of the hard work on the WIki page as well it has been a great help and I respect all of the hard wokr that has been put in to it.

that one for me took about 20 minutes to get. Also of note is you search aaron's email address you'll get a pdf of a conference he was a part of. It mentions jokingly that he is plugged into technology 22 hrs a day and "glows in the dark". so you'd think he'd have a blackberry, windows ce, something to be realizing he's getting all these emails and would have called someone to turn the auto reply off.

Problems with your keyboard? :s

I also mentioned it to him on the Hive. I suspect he didn't know about it. Probably why he's also not answering his phone. Poor guy.

you should get tthree emails one from remote mailer, v-loki and aaron

FYI ... the "v-loki" one is likely a mistake too. V- is appended to the beginning of e-mail aliases for Microsoft vendors. That means that it was simply hitting the e-mail address for the person who set up the loki account at 42, which is a Microsoft vendor.

the email from loki says to try "harder" and aaron's last name is "coldiron" or cold iron.... maybe?

here we go. I don't know when it got posted but on vanishingpoint is currently the top headline on drudgereport.com here's the article it links to. expect even a bigger flood of registrations and prize odds going down significantly.

Recruiters could be like a tech recruiter...that's how I got my job I'm in right now....you know, from hiring agencies and contractors.

Interesting, thank you. I was hounestly unaware that there were tech recruiters. You learn something new every day. Guess that kills that line of thought then.

Can anyone help me...I am totally confused right now...

I figured most of the puzzles out but then I saw this....(should have saw this before I did most of them :p) Now....I need help on the Calendars...I saw that the answer is interrobang and whenever I type it in it shakes....and then when I lowercase it etc. it says Other on top.

Can you help me figure this one out?

Thank you and GO TEAM NEOWIN.

Although, there's one thing I need to take back. Originally, I said to ignore the weird white boxes that were showing up in the game. Apparently, I'm not as smart as I think I am. http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17829

:o

My first post after the countdown expired and the box was unlocked was a pic of the white squares!! https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?show...893&st=1980 :p I pay attention to weird details and that's the strength I am bringing to the Neowin Team!

close the window down and relogin just to make sure - and try Interrobang Capital I

Okay, now is Loki slipping up or lying to us...her biography page from the pre-game stated:

"One of my professors didn?t buy my vanishing act. He called a friend in a certain large corporation. Now I have the job of giving stuff away to the smartest people on the planet."i>b>

So, was it a recruiter or her professor? And does it really matter.

Put together as puzzle pieces, what do we get?

    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Cyberpunk 2077, Split Fiction, Sonic Racing, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic Games store brought along two games from wildly different genres this week for PC gamers to claim. Robobeat is a rhythm-based action game that lets you become a bounty hunter that can wall run, slide, and bunny hop around his opponents. All you have to do is stick to the beat for the built-in or custom songs. Next, Citizen Sleeper is a sci-fi RPG adventure taking place in a ruined space station. It uses tabletop RPG-inspired elements like dice rolls and timers to change up how players approach its activities, factions, and storylines. The Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat giveaways end on June 25. On the same day, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Voidwrought will become the next freebies. The bundle space expanded with two more collections from Humble this week too. The June 2unes bundle is up first, carrying plenty of rhythm games. This carries Kill the Music and Rhythm Witch in the $5 starting tier, followed by Trombone Champ, Spin Rhythm XD, and Thumper in the $7 tier. Paying at least $12 gets you the complete bundle, which adds on Kalpa: Cosmic Symphony, Everhood 2, NOISZ, and Sixtar Gate: StarTrail. The next bundle is for virtual reality fans. This carries Among Us 3D: VR and Zero Caliber VR for $10. The next tier brings in Tactical Assault VR, Ancient Dungeon, and Arizona Sunshine Remake for $15. VTOL VR, Zero Caliber 2 Remastered, Metro Awakening, and Thief VR land to finish things off for $18. Free Events It's a big week for free event fans, as Valve kicked off another one of its Next Fest events. This one carries thousands of gameplay slices from upcoming indie games The promotion is set to run until June 22. Standard free events are also ongoing this weekend. • Poll: Grand Theft Auto VI price predictions, cast your vote by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe After years of waiting, Rockstar will be solidifying the launch date of Grand Theft Auto VI with the launch of pre-orders next week. While the studio has confirmed a date for this occasion, it is yet to attach a price to the highly anticipated game. So let's see what our readers think it will cost at launch. The Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will kick off on June 25 for digital and physical editions. Unless some last-minute changes happen, the release date will be November 19, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, there's still no information about a PC version from the developer or the publisher Take-Two. Now the question becomes, how much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost at launch? The game is predicted by some analysts to be the biggest launch of an entertainment product ever. With the amount of hype that has been built behind it and with ballooning development costs, Take-Two may price this Grand Theft Auto entry differently from other AAA titles. The current price of a AAA game is $69.99. That norm almost rose to $79.99 before calming down. But with such a massive release, Grand Theft Auto VI may be the game that pushes the boundary again. It's also possible that Take-Two keeps the price relatively low to increase the number of players that jump in early and keep them hooked on Grand Theft Auto Online to spend on microtransactions for years to come. Keep in mind that the below poll is asking for a prediction of the standard edition price, not a deluxe or any other special edition that Take-Two will introduce for additional benefits. Also, there is the chance of the company splitting up the campaign and online portions. If you think that will happen, put your vote on what you think will be the total cost of the two. Poll Poll: How much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost? $59.99 $69.99 $79.99 $89.99 $100 or more Submit Vote If you have a very specific prediction in mind, sound off in the comments below.
