Yeah but the Rock said he was still going to do something "big and unique" with the WWE (probably towards Summerslam I'd gather).

Just don't expect him to ever wrestle again. Maybe a rockbottom or two, but not wrestle :(

Why not?

You know - at this time im having to restrain myself, but I can't, so here goes

"yep a butlins bigger than minehead"

not - yep a butlins bigger then minehead

it's one of my pet peeves

Jeez.

Why not?

Because he's made it very clear he never wants to step into a wrestling ring again and wrestle. Not to mention it would be "beneath" him now as a Hollywood actor to wrestle. As I said, a rockbottom or two, maybe even a bump or two wouldn't be out of the question to do a storyline for TV or a PPV. But most people believe there is literally a 1% chance the Rock will ever wrestle again.

Of course, if his movie career keeps going the way it's going, he'll be wrestling by the end of this year :D

WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Charlie Haas as of today, February 28, 2010. We wish Charlie Haas the best in all future endeavors.

While nothing is finalized, WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin could end up as the final guest host of Monday Night RAW on March 15 in San Diego, CA.

The original plan in WWE was to end the guest host angle at WrestleMania, however there has been talk of extending it with TNA moving to Monday night's starting on March 8. Austin is the last guest host listed by WWE as nothing has been announced for the March 22 show, the final RAW before WrestleMania 26.

It should be noted that Austin posted the following tweets over the weekend: "no middle fingers in san diego. the system has changed a little. im cool with that. times change...". He then tweeted: "stone cold can easily be pg. no problem."

Why is the WWE suddenly getting rid of so many wrestlers?

Which of those released wrestlers had any real value? Not that it was their fault, though. Except maybe Maria. She has definitely always been something to look at, and not a good wrestler.

Charlie Haas could have done something - but I guess there was no storyline to fit him in.

So they could have been special if WWE would have let them.

Contrary to speculation that WWE would be ending the RAW Guest Host angle after Steve Austin hosts on March 15th, WWE.com has announced that MLB great and WWE Hall of Famer Pete Rose will be the guest host of the March 22 edition of Raw.

so kane will be here for that

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the early plan for next year's WWE Hall of Fame is to base it on a WCW theme. Since WrestleMania is being held in Atlanta next year, which was the base of WCW operations, WWE is considering inducting names like Sting (assuming he's not working with TNA) Lex Luger, The Steiner Brothers, The Road Warriors and other notable WCW names.

------------

Thanks to Antonio Figueroa for sending this in: Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta's profiles are now on the SmackDown page, so it appears the tag team is now part of the SmackDown brand.

------------

The following is from OVWrestling.com:

WWE has recently come to terms on a Developmental Contract with OVW Superstar Asher Knight.

------------

WWE has announced that the Raw after WrestleMania on 3/29 will be hosted by the cast of the upcoming film Hot Tub Time Machine. The film stars Rob Cordry and Clark Duke amongst others, but as of now WWE is advertising "the cast" of the film as the guest hosts and no one in particular.

Pfff, I hate to say - after many years of watching - it doesn't interest me any more. It is just going downhill every single episode. :(

the only thing I watch now is NXT because its new and fresh but once that goes stale I am outta here but not for good, I have dedicated a good 20 years of my life to following wrestling I will never just not be interested.

    • I think this will appeal to a lot of enthusiasts. If the thermals are similar to those of a single system in a compact case, many people running multiple systems may choose to combine them into one machine, provided the case footprint remains reasonable.
    • No, "a great deal" for 32GB of DDR5 is $50, not $350. I mean I see what you mean, that it's a decent price compared to what's currently available, but you really should put a disclaimer in this articles explaining that it's still multiple times more expensive than it used to be.
    • Linux 7.1 stable launch looms as Linus Torvalds releases the final release candidate by Paul Hill Linus Torvalds has just released what’s expected to be the final release candidate of Linux 7.1, rc7. The Linux founder said that this RC is not small, but smaller than recent releases, which is a good sign because he expects the stable version to drop next week if things continue on this trajectory. Linux kernels see a merge window for the first two weeks of their life, where developers add new features, then there are about seven or eight weeks of release candidates before the stable version. Typically, there are seven release candidates, but if more time is needed, then an eighth release candidate is released too. This week’s RC’s biggest area of fixes was for GPUs, with networking just behind. Torvalds said that the rest of the release was “pretty random and spread out” with some architecture fixes, driver fixes, filesystem improvements, and build fixes for more unusual configs. In terms of specific pieces of hardware receiving improvements in this update, we had more AMD Zen6 models supported and fixes for AMD SDMA 7.1 and GFX11. Hardware that got improvements includes Lenovo laptops, HONOR laptops, and MSI laptops. Here are the changelogs for those: ASoC: amd: acp: Add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 Input: atkbd - add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Air 14 (83QK) Input: atkbd - skip deactivate for HONOR BCC-N's internal keyboard ASoC: amd: yc: Add MSI Raider A18 HX A9WJG to quirk table ASoC: amd: yc: Enable internal mic on MSI Bravo 17 C7VF When the stable Linux 7.1 is released, it will be up to distribution maintainers, such as Canonical and Red Hat, to release the update to their users via the update manager. Some versions of Linux will get it before others, and some will never get it at all. Fedora and Arch-based distros will be among the first to get it, though. If you don’t get it, the security fixes will be backported to your system’s kernel, so you won’t be at risk, but you won’t get newer hardware support, which is fine if your computer works now.
