the only thing I watch now is NXT because its new and fresh but once that goes stale I am outta here but not for good, I have dedicated a good 20 years of my life to following wrestling I will never just not be interested.

Yeah, I'm like that now. I've watched wrestling since I was eight years old. I sort of remember the first time I saw WWF on the TV. It was an episode of Sunday Night Heat on Channel 4; a tag match with The Headbangers, but I can't remember who they faced. It wasn't long after that that I watched my very first WWF pay-per-view, the 2000 Royal Rumble, which was also on Channel 4. Back then, I only had regular TV, so I could only watch WWF whenever it was on Channel 4, so I saw the Royal Rumble, then the next PPV I saw was Backlash. Then a month or two later, we finally got Sky Digital, and the first PPV on Sky Sports I saw was King of the Ring.

This was all in 2000. Great times. :)

I stopped watching WWE a couple of years ago, then turned to TNA full-time, but even now I've gone off that since they brought in Hulk Hogan. I still keep an eye on the storylines from time to time, but the only wrestling thing I watch full-time now is Botchamania. :p Can't get enough of it. One of my favourite bits ever is in The Best of Botchamania.

It's just 12 seconds in after the traditional "Macho Man" Randy Savage quote, and just after Kevin Nash going "I'm the s**t, I'm tellin' ya!" :D

If anyone's interested in Botchamania, there's a website, but the videos always get uploaded a few days earlier to Maffew's newest YouTube page first.

I have read the reports from both shows...

Raw sounded like "just any other dull show" to me, surprised they aren't defending themselves more?!

I must say this. at least Raw wasn't full of old-timers .. Hogan, Flair, Sting, Hall, Nash, Waltman. at least Bischoff wasn't out there dancing with the seniors

tho, it's always nice seeing Hogan getting multiple beatdowns

ok, Raw has one old-timer on TV, but Vince McMahon is actually in shape and can still get out and perform (even if it is in a handicap gauntlet match)

Last night's edition of WWE Monday Night RAW scored a 3.4 cable rating.

Last night's edition of TNA iMPACT! scored a 1.0 cable rating.

Both shows were way down this week. More shortly.

It's obviously going to be tough for TNA iMPACT! next week as they're running a taped show head-to-head with the return of Steve Austin and three WrestleMania rematches. They also face a Bret Hart-Vince McMahon contract signing.

i looked at the results a few hours ago. the show is gonna suck

Stone Cold is hosting RAW next week! I wonder will he be there just for one night or he has some plans for WrestleMania!

Do you mean show up and guest referee or something? Or wrestle? Because he's never going to wrestle again sadly :(

Okay so here are my predictions:

  • Bret Hart will win.
  • I do not care but HHH will win.
  • I do not care but CM Punk will win.
  • MITB is very hard to call. My best guess would be Christian at this point.
  • ShowMiz will win.
  • Shawn Michaels will win for sure, even though that is totally retarded.
  • I do not care but Batista will win.
  • Edge will win.

I also think that HBK will win. But I don't like it, I mean if he wins, then he will be the first who defeats and has been defeated by The Undertaker.

But then, who is the right person other than HBK to end taker's streak?

if Taker loses it means he will retire this year, the fact HBK is taking 6 months off after WM means he might just lose.

I do not care but Batista will win.

I do not think Batista will win. Firstly Batista has beaten Cena at SummerSlam 2008 and he is the bad guy now who has hurt Cena a lot. So I think its revenge time for Cena at WrestleMania 26.

if Taker loses it means he will retire this year, the fact HBK is taking 6 months off after WM means he might just lose.

Yeah that's also right but how will WWE handle HBK's obsession?

As rumored earlier, Ultimate Warrior apparently pulled out of this year's 2010 WWE Hall of Fame over the payday he was set to receive from WWE and the terms of the non-compete clause. Most WWE Hall of Famers get $5,000 along with a ring, although that number may be different for other bigger names. The belief is that Warrior was getting paid much more since this year was being designed to be built around him.

    • Does anyone here know if these updates are integrated into the UUP dump isos?

    • NVIDIA officially supports Ubuntu, as linked above with the GeForce NOW Hands on I did in collaboration with Paul Hill.
    • TO be clear I am not running linux today, however I keep thinking about it. And I want to make sure there are minimal obstacles if I decide to make that switch in the coming months.
    • Yes, I actually glossed over the Linux part from the OP. You could always go for a 9070 XT and if you really want to play Ray Traced games in the future, GeForce Now is pretty damn good on Linux https://www.neowin.net/news/nvidias-native-geforce-now-app-for-linux-bridges-the-gaming-gap-hands-on/
