The percentage of this being unlikely is so big I could copy/paste the numbers and I still wouldnt reach it! :p

Jokes aside, Sting is 54 years old. He has NEVER wrestled in the WWE (or WWF or etc). The money they would have to not only pay him but also the Undertaker (its the only reason they would even bring him to the WWE) would be huge for a guy who is going to have one match and problably a 1 year contract.

BTW, Sting brought this upon himself. He could have made a great career in the WWE (attitude era and all). But because of one stupid promo between The Rock and Booker T, he choose not to because he felt that WCW would be lowered to the bottom and would problably stay there. I guess he was right about keeping the World Heavyweight, 3 time World Tag Team, Intercontinental, US, Hardcore champion and King Of The Ring Booker T being held down and stuck at the bottom.

Booker had a short run in the WWE anyway - yea it worked good for the invasion and his KOTR win but after that..not much was done with him. Sting didn't deserve to get treated that way by Vince.. He'd constantly get stuck jobbing to lil guys plus hes got kids he wants to raise and TNA's lax schedule allows him to do that.

It doesn't really matter. Sting would be a waste of an UT WrestleMania match. He isn't in UT's league. Never was.

I would still mark out to see Sting in WWE but yeah don't give him a chance at the streak

Suppose it's just me I was always a WCW mark back in the day

And what did that get you? Disappointment.

Thats all it gets Sting too.

He was never that great of an in-ring talent. Decent on the mic at best. His various gimmick variations have been mostly awful.

Way overrated by WCW marks like yourself because he is their only true long term star they ever produced themselves. The only exception being Goldberg.

If WWE brings him in for WrestleMania, I don't have a problem with it, as long as it isn't with the Taker.

Speaking on Mania...

WWE is still very interested in landing Bill Goldberg for a match at WrestleMania 30, reports F4WOnline.com. During Ryback's match on Raw this week, Vince McMahon fed Jerry Lawler the line about fans loving the Goldberg chants that occur often during Ryback appearances. Of course, with the regular chants and the new Goldberg DVD, there's really no better time than 'Mania in New Orleans for a Goldberg return match.

Suppose it's just me I was always a WCW mark back in the day

I was too i was also a big Bret Hart fan in WWE as well as HBK... but i always somewhat favored WCW because of Sting and back then they were actually pretty good.

I think it was because we could only get TNT so on Friday nights I would watch Nitro and that was the only wrestling I watched other than the occasional WWF PPV's.

I would love to see Sting v Undertaker.

Sting is awesome, and is similar to Taker in that neither are all that great wrestlers at all. Both have a small basic moveset but both are masters of the psychology of the ring. Both great at the theatrics and showmanship required to have a great match.

Add to that Sting does actually, genuinely have a great match left in him.  He really can put on a brilliant match still.

It would be much better than the last wrestlemania. Undertaker didn't really do ANYTHING all match, he relied on Punk to carry the match and for some reason Punk just ran around acting like a jumped up teenager. Awful awful match. Taker phoned it in so obviously it was embarrassing to watch.

If anyone needs to carry Taker through his last wrestlemania Sting should really be the one to do it.

Someone never watched UT before he was old and broken down. He was the most agile big man to ever grace the ring. The only person close to him is Lesnar, believe it or not.

Also, when was Sting's last 'brilliant match'? Forcefully holding down High Hardy?

No no I have watched him since about 1995 regularly and sporadic matches on dvd from before then.

He is very entertaining, and very athletic in terms of all the jumps off the rope he used to do and diving over the ropes etc. However. Good 'wrestling' to me is a little more technical than just athletics. So whilst he was very impressive to watch, he wasn't a great *wrestler*. He just knows how to make it look good.

Just my opinion. But I see Taker and Sting being very similar. Combine two of the greatest wresting minds in the business in a match and it ought to be great.

So you're referring to technical wrestling? In that case, you're correct. Taker is a brawler, always has been. But thats the style WWE has been for many years. Even Bryan, who is considered one of, if not THE, top technical wrestler in the world doesn't do much mat wrestling. Its just the way it is in WWE.

Sting has nothing left to prove in TNA and he's simply wasting his time now - Dixie has no intention of being inovative and doing what needs to be done. She takes the easy way and hires Hogan and Bishoff to try to get ratings... personally i liked TNA better when those two were no where near TNA.

    • The problem of course is simply that government does not always know best. My point is that agency is taken away from the EU consumer in these cases. I'm sorry, but I do not believe that governments (politicians) are inherently good, and "looking out for me." Primarily they look to themselves and their own personal desires first, foremost, and always. When the EU or the DOJ fines these companies, claiming to "represent the welfare of the consumer," how much of these billion-dollar judgments are handed to the consumers they claim to represent? Not even a dollar, as I've seen. Yet the EUC lawyers who are paid to sit around and dream up these suits make huge commissions on the fines the EUC adjudicates, which is an ironclad fact I hope everyone is aware of. It's also rank corruption, of course, but that's another topic. Last, when the EU inflicts these judgments, or the DOJ, take your pick, the costs are bundled right along in the cost of the goods and services these companies provide the consumers they are "looking out for." If you are someone who believes his government is his savior then you have my condolences. I think Apple is right here, because the whole scheme of consumer choice is that consumers pick and choose among the products companies offer. Microsoft Windows is more compatible with third party software and hardware than any desktop OS on Earth, which is my sole reason for choosing it. Just because the EUC forces companies do certain things it knows the companies do not want to do, "or else", has no bearing on consumer benefit. This Siri thing is almost idiotic it's so infantile. But this is what the EUC does when the EU in Brussels becomes cash-strapped and needs a big infusion of cash. Some people get upset by "big companies" but it's the opposite when governments dwarf the size and scope of these companies, which is so obvious it hurts.... I mean you can't honestly believe that forcing Apple to do things with Siri it has its own reasons to decline is something that "opens up" Apple, do you? Say it aint' so...
    • Looks like many years since the request was made, a directory tree view finally may be added. https://github.com/files-community/Files/pull/18537
    • There's this from last year https://gist.github.com/threat...364659a8887841aa43deca4efd9 but nothing about a buffer overflow that MS somehow can't code against. No matter what, it makes sense to take a "protected by default" approach.
