1-1 in the philly habs series

I predicted the Habs wouldn't make it past round 2, wonder if I'll be right :p lol

to bad you are going to be wrong

Hope so... Sick and tired of hearing about them and their greatness when they can hardly beat so called "crappy teams".

tonights game was stolen from them, they deserved to win, not philly and boston thjey got cocky against them, woke up for game 7 against boston and you all saw what happened. Just like what happened during the regular season.

Wow, Franzen is kicking our ass! 5 goals in two games

I'm definitely glad I picked him for my playoff fantasy pool. It was a risk, picking him a bit far up in the draft, but I really hoped that his goal-scoring tendencies would come through.

On another note, I am sorely disappointed with Friday's game that the Rangers played. Just awful.

****ing stupid ****ing bull**** ****ing call on begin, how the **** is that a ****ing charge, are you ****ign retarded you ****ing ###### like ****ing seriously its called finishing your ****ing check, ****ing philly doesn't deserve to be on top, habs are outplaying them 100%

k i am done whining, i don't wanna sound like a philly reporter/fan

i still have faith they are going to comeback (shittiest day in sports ever)

That wasn't a charge? He took like 6 steps, a charge is only 3.

Habs are outplaying them? Philly has got out to 2-0 lead in EVERY GAME (or better)

I thought that the Habs were overrated even before the playoffs, that's why I called them losing in the 2nd round. I think a lot of people have unrealistic expectations for them. The Habs live and die by the power play, and their pp is really struggling. Another huge reason (that I also pointed out earlier, but got flamed) is that they have almost no size. They're getting pounded around by Philly and aren't as aggressive on the puck as they could be.

wow no he didn't. it called finishing your check, i know the canucks can't do that, but its what its called.

and wow yeah they are outplaying them, you really must not be educated. Look at the stats for the past four three games, who is leading in almost all of them (other then goaltending because price is choking):

See a trend?

And no the canadiens do not live or die by it, their powerplay has been fine this round, they have scored on the PP every game of this series. Thats pretty good. They scored more goals then anyone other team in the league, which tells you they must be pretty good on 5v5. How do they almost have no size? What philly is a powerhouse, they have like one big guy, hatcher? Komisarek is bigger then him. They are not getting pounded by them AT ALL, they are keeping up with them in physicality, just because philly likes to start scrums, doesn't make them tougher. Here, look at the hits for each game, look how close it is, they even had TEN more hits in game one and SEVEN more hits then them in game 3 and 2. THey are honestly OUT HITTING PHILLY! What are you watching?

Really, if you are going to say something, at least make sure you ain't talking out of nowhere, nothing you are saying is true other then the lead thing. You are just as uneducated as the majority of canucks fans...

Why go there with Canucks fans?

I'm not the one mud slinging. I've watched every Habs game this playoffs, so don't take your frustrations out on me.

I have nothing to prove to you, all I said earlier in this thread was that my prediction was that the Habs weren't making it past the 2nd round. It's not over yet, but they're going to have a hard time winning the series now.

Outplaying or not, it's called winning, and they aren't winning. Your goaltender(s) are being outplayed at the other end.

yeah, goalies, thats what i said, but if you are going to make an argument, make it a valid one

^ shut up... :(

Getting an early lead isn't a valid point?

Getting pounded physically isn't a valid point?

PP struggling isn't a valid point?

they are not getting pounded physically AT ALL and they PP isn't struggling anymore., if you are going to make a claim back it up like i did

Edited by rajputwarrior

You never backed anything up, you just posted a bunch of links.

And their powerplay is struggling, they went 0-4 last game. Watch any playoff show and they'll tell you that MTL has to score more on the PP.

If you don't think they are getting pounded then you have a blind bias.

I can post links too see http://www.tsn.ca/columnists/bob_mckenzie/?id=236413

no dude, i straight up told you, and then i posted links to back it up, like you claimed philly was outhitting them, thats completely false, montreal has more hits then they do.

And who cares what the playoff show say, they just analyize stats to like i posted. Clearly you didn't look at anything of the score sheets i posted because you would have known that you were wrong, but you rather keep posting crap.

Montreal IS outplaying and outchancing Philly. We're winning in goalposts about 8-2. :p

I'm not liking the style of hockey played by the Flyers. They have a couple of great players who are doing their scoring, but the rest seem like a team of thugs. Boston played with far more class in that series. In the end of course, it all boils down to who wins. Philly is winning and will most likely go on to win the series, unless the Habs can pull off a repeat of 4 years ago.

How is the team with the most GA, the best PP and the almost best PK overrated? Seems like a silly thing to say. Anything can happen in the playoffs to make the regular season stats look out of place; why would this now seem odd to any of you?

    • That is $130 more than I paid for my 4TB a year ago. How is this a deal?
    • JetBrains' new AI-first 'IDE' JetBrains Air is now on Windows by David Uzondu JetBrains has announced that JetBrains Air, its Agentic Development Environment (ADE) is now available for download on Windows x64 and ARM. You might not be familiar with JetBrains Air. It's this new desktop app that the company launched back in March 2026 to let developers hand off tasks to AI agents instead of writing every line manually. You can see it as more of an Agentic Development Environment (ADE) rather than a traditional Integrated Development Environment (IDE). The latter builds its features around a central text editor, while the former arranges everything around the AI agent itself. Here's how JetBrains describes it: Air was born from the ashes of Fleet, an experimental editor that the company quietly killed in December 2025 after realizing that competing directly with VS Code was a losing battle. The company repurposed Fleet's lightweight, modern architecture to build Air, transforming a basic code editor into a workspace for running multiple AI agents. When Air launched, it was only available for macOS. It wasn't until earlier this month that Linux users got a chance to play with the software. Now that Air is on Windows, you can do things like map out a complex feature in Plan mode and watch an AI write the implementation plan to a markdown file before writing any code. You can iterate on this plan, add references to specific classes or files, and choose whether to run the agent locally or inside an isolated Git worktree. Running agents in parallel means you can have Claude refactor a database schema in one branch while Codex writes tests in another, leaving you free to do other important things. You can even set up a pipeline where Claude writes the code, and Codex reviews it. At the moment, Air is free. If you have a JetBrains AI Pro or Ultimate subscription, you get full access to the built-in agents, though there's also the option to Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) to run APIs from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. If you're interested, here are the download links for both x64 and ARM64.
    • Depending how you’re wiring it internally, but try to put it inside conduit, that way in the future you can more easily replace cables, compared to running inside studs alone At least cat6a too
    • I bet Meta has lots of info on you anyway, gathered by other means. And Google, and Microsoft, and every other tech giant. If you use some form of modern electronic device, they own you already...
    • I'm using Windows 11 Pro 25H2 on "ancient" hardware, too: - Core i7 3770K - GTX 1050 2GB - 16GB DDR3 1333 MT/s It runs flawlessly, not a single issue. I also have it on other ancient setups, but I don't remember the exact specs right now (Intel 4th. generation).
