Got tickets for 'pool at the Lane in November too....!!!!

How come Spurs sell there tickets so far in advance? For Liverpool games, you can phone up for tickets or apply via for a postal 18 days before the game.

I've got tickets for Liverpool v Stoke on the 20th September, I'm taking my sister to her first every Liverpool game on her birthday, aren't I a nice brother :D?

Dunno, is it the same for home games? It also depends what 'band' of membership you are on at Spurs - for the higher band tickets go on sale earlier, there are like 5 bands as well - Lilywhite, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum - mostly going on sale at different times, and only after that does it go on general sale.

I'm sure your sis will love it, lets hope for her that Keano's drought doesn't continue  :D

Yeah they used to have a bank as a sponsor.

Hammers VS West Brom will both be without sponsors this weekend - very unusual for a prem match!

or maybe the fact that the second half liverpool dominated...

Well over the course of the game, we were better only over the first 10-20 minutes and after, with the Pool nicking a goal, it was only go one way. It just seemed to me that United weren't trying hard enough. (or perhaps tired, although it no excuse to perform in that manner).

Neverless, the goal really played a huge part in the mentality for the rest of the game, we were on top before the goal and Liverpool were finding it very difficult to break us down. But after the goal, it was full steam ahead for Liverpool and well we just looked deflated. Even people like Tevez who is constantly pushing just didn't have the gas enough and it was inevitable for Liverpool to get that goal. Well done to them though, I can't argue that the Pool fully deserved it. *grits teeth*

Well hopefully United can pull it back together for the CL game midweek, and seen as its not gonna get any easier going to the Bridge next weekend, we really need to pick it up. But you heard it here first, United to win! And break that unbelievable record of 4 years not losing for Chelsea at home.

Arsenal won! Man City played well but lost! Congrats to Liverpool!

Seriously though... What the hell is happening to Newcastle? They lost again! Go Hull!

OMG! Stoke almost did it again but this time lost to Everton 2-3 at home!

Spurs 1-2 Villa :D :D :D :D I like it.. I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally like it.. Spurs number 20.. below Hull and Stoke.. WOW!! and

everyone was saying this is their year.. Ramos out next? lets wait and see till christmas..

No let-up in Newcastle fans' actions against Mike Ashley

Mike Ashley is believed to have been in Abu Dhabi last night in an attempt to push through a quick sale of Newcastle United, but the club's embattled owner has been informed by supporters that protests against his regime will continue. After a dismal summer that has left Newcastle with no manager, no long-term benefactor and an ill-equipped squad, fans are establishing their own representative body.

Concerns that Ashley would not deliver on his promise to cut his ties with Tyneside have lifted after the billionaire sportswear retailer departed for the Middle East to seek potential buyers. Dennis Wise, the executive director (football) and Tony Jimenez, the club's vice-president, were dispatched to Dubai for the same purpose, although Dubai International Capital, the private-equity investment arm of the Dubai Government which has been courting Liverpool, denied any interest in bailing out Ashley.

Fans have been mobilised by Kevin Keegan's resignation, the influence of Wise and Derek Llambias, the managing director, and the failure to strengthen the team significantly. They are preparing for an attritional campaign to oust Ashley, who has requested an end to the sort of demonstrations that accompanied Saturday's home defeat by Hull City. The Newcastle United Supporters Group will be formed at a public meeting near St James' Park this evening.

“The protests at the running of our club by Ashley, Wise and Llambias need to continue and collectively Newcastle United supporters require an organisation which has a mass membership, is inclusive and has a legitimacy to represent,” a joint statement from The Mag and true faith fanzines said. The mood is one of constructive militancy. In spite of Ashley's contention that his family “would be assaulted” if they attended Newcastle matches, police praised the fans “for the way in which they behaved”.

fergie is a baby

MANCHESTER, England - Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has risked sanction from the Football Association by accusing the head of Premier League referees of showing favouritism toward Chelsea.

Ferguson made the accusation against Keith Hackett after Chelsea captain John Terry's red card against Manchester City was rescinded, clearing him to face United in Sunday's high-profile Premier League game.

"My information is that Hackett told (referee) Mark Halsey to rescind the red card and he would not do it," Ferguson was quoted as saying in Wednesday's newspapers. "Now I understand that Halsey is being made to referee in the second division this weekend.

"I just don't undertand how this could have happened. If it had been a Manchester United player, Hackett would never have done this for us."

The Professional Game Match Officials Board, which Hackett heads, said Hackett was not involved in the decision.

"All matters of discipline are an issue for the FA - and them alone," the organization said in a statement.

Terry was sent off by Halsey for hauling down Man City striker Jo near the end of Chelsea's 3-1 victory on Saturday. Chelsea appealed, and an FA panel ruled in its favour Tuesday.

Instead of serving an automatic three-game suspension, Terry is now free to play against United.

I agree abt Sir Alex.. he is getting too old for this.. and maybe that is the reason he just doesn't care any more.. I think he will leave by the end of this season or the next..

But the way the JT red card and ban were overturned are surprising and a bit suspicious.. anyway I would not talk abt refrees taking sides if I was Man Utd manager.. coz everyday has seen season in and out how they get favours from the refs.. penalties that others dont get.. Red cards that other get etc etc..

    • Still using Classic Outlook? Microsoft highlights 15 reasons to switch to New Outlook by Usama Jawad As many of you may know, Microsoft has been trying to get customers to ditch Classic Outlook in favor of New Outlook for quite some time now. To that end, it has added numerous capabilities to the latter, including PST features, and it is working on several more, such as a unified inbox. However, customer response has been a bit lukewarm so far, with many considering the New Outlook to be "hot garbage". Now, Microsoft has highlighted 15 features that users can leverage in New Outlook in yet another attempt to get customers to migrate. Although not all of the 15 capabilities are exclusive to New Outlook, in fact, most of them are available in Classic Outlook as well. But Microsoft hopes that this combination of familiar and fresh features will be able to attract existing users as well as new ones. For ease of readability, we have summarized the 15 features below: Pin an email: This makes it easier to track important emails Snooze an email: You can temporarily snooze an email thread for a specific time frame until it becomes relevant again. This can be very useful in scenarios where you don't feel like actively following a thread or simply want to follow up on a later date Add multiple categories at the same time: You can assign multiple categories to an email through a single, simplified interface Sweep: As the name implies, you can define automated move processes on your inbox to declutter it, rather than cleaning it up manually Schedule send: Does exactly what it says on the tin, and can be useful when accommodating recipients in different timezones Simplified folder sharing: The sharing process has been simplified so permissions are automatically applied on parent folders Follow a meeting: This is an RSVP option that lets people know that you won't be able to join the meeting but would still like to access a recap Save calendar views: You can save different views for the calendar based on different workflows Improved meeting tracking: Organizers have more controls in viewing meeting responses, such as the ability to sort and download them. Typically useful when there is a large audience Meeting recap: The Outlook Calendar surfaces a meeting recap with recordings, transcripts, and shared files Filtered views: Allows you to declutter your Calendar so that it's easier to scan and schedule Change a recurring event: Users can modify future events of a series of meetings while preserving the configuration of previous ones Rename your email account: This labeling makes it easier to identify multiple accounts in Outlook Modern themes: Exactly what the name says, plus Dark Mode Keyboard shortcuts: This facilitates flexible user behavior as customers can choose between Outlook for Windows shortcuts, Outlook for the web, or turn them off completely There you have it. It's a decent list, but it remains to be seen if it will move the needle in a meaningful way for users who are attached to Classic Outlook. Again, a lot of the aforementioned features are already available in Outlook Classic, but for some, native functionality is not present, and people typically resort to workarounds. Microsoft will be hoping that it's primarily those capabilities that get people to finally switch.
