As far as I am aware they haven't explained Walt's "abilties". From what I remember he had some abilities off the island as well.

Not sure if they will ever explain it, or return to Walt. Did they ever show his birth? Maybe he was somehow born in the Island, hence the powers like Miles?

I was watching the pilot last night and had some thoughts about Jacob touching all the losties.

1. Maybe it was to ensure that they survived the plain crash? Any other survivors who weren't touched survived by "luck" (Rose had to be revived by Jack)

2. Maybe by touching them it ensures Smokey can't kill them.

I just can't wait to see how it's going to pan out for the final season. After the way season 5 finished there, I can't wait until January!

Aye I know the feeling, seems like forever until the next season. I hate how they are killing off my favorite shows though(Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Prison Break, Sarah Conner Chronicles(possibly?) The Shield ect...)

1. Let me get this straight. The "present" is still AFTER the first and second plane crashes?

How does that add up to the fact that Sun is on the island? Does it mean that the FIRST flight actually did crash again?

Because if they managed to "fix" the energy pocket, the flight would've never crashed on the island, thus making Sun not have a reason to be on the island? (pocket fixed, plane never crashed, sun never visited -> sun shouldn't be on the island 30 years later)

However, if the pocket wasn't fixed. That means the people from the FIRST flight have already crashed again?

and they are still on the island? gaah.. I don't understand!

Someone please shed some light on this!

I think Ben and Jack with the others in 1977 will be getting nosebleeds in the next series, if the nuke being set off by Juliet did indeed cause the Incident.

They seem to be caused by the time-lapsing, and the most affected people are those who've been to the Island before. We might lose another person to the nosebleeds of death =/

One more thing I just remembered: Ben was able to summon smokey (to kill Kemey and his men). So smokey was willing to protect Ben, lending further credibility to the theory that Smokey=Esau, since Esau would eventually need Ben's help to kill Jacob.

Never thought of that.

If this is true, it is just another reason why the LOST writers are amazing. It's looking more and more like they knew exactly what they have been wanting to do since Day 1.

It seems more and more like it could be simply a (good versus evil) battle.

Jacob touched many of those to make them good? and/or keep them good and alive but Ben was touched by the other in which case it would explain why he was the one who was to kill Jacob.

But for all we know Jacob could be the bad guy :p Such a crazy show.

Salesforce expects the transaction to close in the fourth quarter of its fiscal year 2027, and the acquisition will not change its financial guidance previously announced on May 27. Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce, in its press release, claimed that acquiring the startup gives Salesforce an immediate AI agent that resolves support tickets across email, WhatsApp, SMS, and Slack: You might know Fin by its former name, Intercom. If you have ever been on a website or inside a mobile app and noticed a little chat bubble widget floating in the bottom right corner of your screen, often featuring a friendly face and a message like, "Hi! How can we help you today?" you were almost certainly looking at Intercom. Intercom became Fin just last month, transforming itself into an "AI-first" platform that handles customer issues with little need for humans to intervene. The new name originates from the company's highly successful AI customer service agent, which it launched way back in 2023. This digital assistant supposedly resolves about 76% of customer service volume end-to-end on its own, so the business rebranded to match its primary software tool. Fin's new owners, Salesforce, went on an acquisition spree over the last few years, and some of them you might recognize, like its 2020 $27.7 Billion acquisition of Slack.       Microsoft now allows you to tweak Visual Studio to new extremes by Usama Jawad Visual Studio 2026 recently netted a powerful feature that finally allows developers to review Git Pull Requests (PRs) directly in the integrated development environment (IDE), without needing to switch to the browser. However, that's not all that Microsoft introduced in the latest version, as it also offered a useful way to customize the IDE to their heart's content. Although Visual Studio 2026 already provides lots of stock themes based on Fluent Design principles, Microsoft understands that people still want to customize them further according to their preferences. The IDE now offers a new configuration page for themes under Tools > Options > Environment > Visual Experience > Theme colors. This allows you to set hex color codes for accent colors, hover states, and more, and apply them without requiring a restart. The Redmond tech giant further says that: Microsoft is also offering granular color tokens that allow you to customize various UX elements like the tab header without impacting the rest of the shell chrome. Your themes are also stored in JSON format in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\18.0_xxxxxxxx\ColorThemes, which basically enables you to share it with others or override existing themes. This is a major improvement in terms of the user experience powering these customization capabilities. This is because extensions were required to replace the theme, and it was not very easy to make minor adjustments. This theme configuration UX solves this problem and is available in Visual Studio 2026 version 18.7, available here.
