You have fun. I probably won't buy a new camera until 2011. Anyway, I've been meaning to shoot more in RAW mode but I'm somewhat limited by my 4B SDHC. I wonder if it'll improve my images. I'm sure it'll help in terms of post processing and white balance. Time to save up some money for a 16GB SDHC.

wat

I shoot RAW on 4GB CFs on both my cameras. Get about 395 on the 400D and 304 shots on the 40D. Shoot RAW damnit!

...i shoot raw with a 2gb... 2gb RAW on 12mp gets me 134 shots.

Saying your 4gb card is too small is a horribly stupid excuse for not shooting raw. If you're filling up your card every time, maybe you're just taking too many pictures?

It's more of a psychological thing. I get so many more shots in JPEG mode as opposed to RAW mode. Depending on the day, and what I'm shooting at, sometime 4GB isn't enough. That's not to say I don't shoot in RAW mode at all. I do it every once in awhile. Heck, the last time I shot in RAW mode was yesterday around noon.

I just had a change of heart. From now on I'm going to shoot exclusively in RAW mode.

haha thats my gf!

She's a wonderful model!

I think I get just under 300 with my 450D. I could shoot so much more with a 16GB SDHC card! :p

o0moonman0o, the second last shot is amazing.

Great pictures everyone! I'm sorry I don't participate a lot like before as currently moving houses (may be that's for the best :p)

Anyway, here's some old photo but didn't post it in this thread before (I think):

I just joined their flickr group. I'm checking out their website right now. :)

Sillysam, the first one looks great. The second one is interesting but creepy.

Interesting look Aaron.

Aaron!? :o

Hehe, yeah. I was just messing around in photoshop and ended up with that result. It takes me literally 10 seconds to do it. Does it remind you of the 70's? Anyway, I'm trying to get a nice deadtone brown effect in photoshop/lightroom. I'll post some experimental pictures later.

My first real model shoot.

    • My hunch is that EU rejected Apple's proposal because Trusted System Agent would be an intermediary offered to third party AI's (this article is also worded as such) but Siri AI itself would not pass this intermediary. This would cause a situation where Siri AI would have more direct system access and offer it an unfair advantage. (speaking from EU regulator perspective here) Apple is citing security issues with doing what EU asked for, and I think this also supports this theory, because truly direct system access like Siri AI would make it impossible to control third party AI's running on the devices and e.g. reign them in via adjustments to Trusted System Agent. So, I _think_ this is the sticking point right now.
    • I have not even heard of that game. will take a look
