[Official] PS3 Game Sharing

Recommended Posts

Yeah I really have been, Europe messed me all up. :|

I just sent an email I found on the Playstation Blog to try and get a LBP Beta key. (Y)

FOR **** SAKE!!!! Why do I keep missing every opportunity to get a code :'(

Did you manage to get one?

Dont think I got one either. After I posted which is right when I also sent my email, about 15 minutes later they put an update announcing that they ran out, so I highly doubt I got one either.

So if any members here have a LBP beta code, and feel like hooking a brother up, feel free.

I know it is highly unlikely, as this is possibly the most anticipated Beta so far in the PS3, but it does not hurt to ask.

How about this...

I'd like to join up with 4 others of you. We create a master account and password. Each person in the group buys one (shareable) game a week which we all share, in a rotation. That way, if you're not sure if you want to buy a game at all, it won't cost you but 1/5th of the cost of the game. If there's nothing even mildly interesting or shareable out that week, we vote to skip. This won't include larger games that might come out like Siren or Burnout.

Audio, Corris, Sethos, Larry, anyone?

I'm too skint atm, so I couldn't commit. But it does sound like a good idea.

I actually might be into this, let me check the list of upcoming releases first, but I was actually thinking of proposing the same thing.

I got into the beta. Hopefully I get some extra codes to give out. Also make sure you check your spam filters. That is where mine was hiding.

Checked my Spam, nothing. :(

I'll be interested in being part of this as well. My only issue at the moment is that I'll be in London (doing a school project) from late October to mid-December... so that's about 8 weeks that I'll be out of the rotation :(

so idk if I can ask to 'reserve a spot', or if more of these groups will start popping up.

Can Burnout be shared? I know the big games usually can't. If it can then I've got it, but I'm gonna need something in exchange, and I've pretty much got everything already. Wouldn't mind trying out Siren, but I don't think that one can be shared either.

Thanks, and strange you ask, as I actually just got one. (Y)

It is the thought that counts though, so definitely appreciate the offer.

    • Nvidia GeForce NOW gains support for seven more games as discounts continue by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe There's a brand-new update rolling out to Nvidia's GeForce NOW streaming service, and like every week, that means more games have received support on the platform. This week's drop has additions like Aphelion and Pro Cycling Manager 26 attached to it. Don't forget that the GeForce NOW summer sale is still active too. This limited-time offer drops the 12-month Performance membership from $99.99 to $64.99, saving members $35. At the same time, the 12-month Ultimate membership is currently going for $129.99, dropping the price by $70 from the original $199.99. Moreover, Nvidia reiterated that support for GOG single sign-in and game library is incoming this summer, joining stores like Steam, Ubisoft Connect, Battle.net, and Xbox. "Connect supported game store accounts and stream titles with GeForce RTX power. Games that include cloud-save functionality help keep progress intact across devices," added the company. "Start a game on one screen, pick up where playtime left off on another, and spend less time managing installs and storage space." Here are the games joining GeForce NOW's supported list this week: Embers of the Uncrowned Demo (New release on Steam, available 13) Pro Cycling Manager 26 (New release on Steam, available June 15) Aphelion (Steam) Citizen Sleeper (Epic Game Store, Free from June 18-25) Megastore Simulator (Steam) OPERATOR (Steam) Super Meat Boy 3D (Xbox, available on Game Pass) Keep in mind that, unlike subscription services like Game Pass or EA Play, a copy of a game must be owned by the GeForce NOW member (or at least have a license via PC Game Pass) to start playing via Nvidia's cloud servers. There is also a limit to how many hours subscribers can use the service per month, with extra time being purchasable in chunks.
