Is ShopTo really the best price for Ratchet & Clank: ACIT?

?38 ftl(N))

Well considering my research skills are slightly below yours for prices, and most of the rest of the forum below mine, I'd wage a safe bet guess on yes:pp

Sack paying that, I'll probably rent it.

Well that was just a quick search based on regular pricing. Is there any vouchers going around that would bump it below ?38 on another site?

?35.94 from Lovefilm

http://shop.lovefilm.com/games/platforms/p...e/10052948.html

Use 10% off voucher code, only valid for 48 hours - XMAS10

Hope this helps

I think I have used Lovefilm in the past, seemed alright.

Nah about 11 minutes from when I posted it :p

I got it though

There's no Sainsburys near me so I'm glad, else I'd be going to Asda at ?32.

Makro only want ?20 if you can use the place

For anyone that bought on Coolshop

just had a chat with the customer service

Claus: hello

Claus: yes how can I help you?

ME: yeah i made a purchase of modern warfare 2 for 27.99, but now the price has gone up to 37. am i going to be charged for the current price or 27.99?

Claus: if you place the order when it was 28 you are gonna pay that amount, unless you didnt confirm it the price will be 37

ME: thanks, one more question - is the express delivery 1 day delivery?

Claus: I'm sorry for the delay. I'll be right with you.

ME: ok

Claus: yes in most case, but depends if we receive enough to cover your order

ME: thank u!

Claus: you welcome

Claus: It's been great chatting with you, hope you have a wonderful day! :-)

Chat session has been terminated by the site operator.

Makro member, so I know where I will be going tomorrow morning before work :)

Internet has killed the Makro site so I hope you got that coupon saved/printed in time :p

Can't get it for ?20 without it.

?20 for a game with an RRP of ?54.99, lol.

Printed off and sitting on my desk, although being honest the cost in fuel to get there doesn't make it much cheaper to get it for ?26 from Sainsbury which is on my way into work.

Yeah that's why I'm glad I got mine off Coolshop, Sainsburys/Makro are both a 20-25 min drive for me.

Was just going to go to Asda locally and pay the ?32, minus my mates staff discount, so ?28.80.

I wonder if my neighbour still has a makro card ... time to make a few phone calls :shiftyninja:

EDIT: Dammit, they don't have the card any more :( that ?6 saving would of been nice to have!

    • Payday TWO!! Is 13 years old man I feel old - I remember trying it out and if I did not know I would say 5-6 years ago or something
    • Payday 2 engine upgrade adds 64-bit and DX11 support, drastically shrinks install size by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Payday 2, the most popular entry in the heisting game franchise, is getting a surprising update after all these years. This is slated to be a complete engine upgrade that will enhance almost every aspect of the 13-year-old title, targeting performance, loading times, file size, rendering backend, and more. Developer Sidetrack Games is planning a beta to test out the new version ahead of the full public launch. The development team today revealed that the long-awaited upgrade to the 64-bit architecture is happening with this Diesel 3.0 engine update. By letting the game use more ram than 4GB, it is said to improve stability and compatibility on most hardware. It should also help modders in the long term with implementing larger changes too. "While many of the changes are made on the backend and not everything will be visible to you guys because it is a massive rewrite of the entire codebase, there will be a lot of things that you can look forward to," Sidetrack explained. Payday 2 will also hop over from DirectX 9 to 11. Instead of visual improvements, this is slated to reduce the amount of VRAM used by the title, letting more lower-end hardware access the title and run it better. Since these changes would require a complete redownload of the game anyway, Sidetrack says it has revamped "the game's packaging and bundling system." This should reduce the installation size from 86GB to 32GB. "So, now it's time to finally move the game to your SSDs," added the studio. The Payday 2 Diesel Engine 3.0 update is entering open beta on June 30 for Steam users. No console release plans were announced today. Sidetrack Games says it has been working on this complete rewrite of the codebase for the last nine months. While these changes should break most mods, the studio encouraged modders to use the beta period to repair their creations with support from the development team.
