I doubt there is any real technical reason for it, there was never any mention of it being a 'beta'. it has just been touted as a way for a few people to try it early, so i'd imagine it's just a stress test. Well, 3000 participants is no where near the 10+ million people who'll be downloading the NXE when it launches officially. It's a way of creating more hype for it. There is never going to be a time that suited everyone. For all we know they planned to leave it running 24 hrs, it just so happens it reached the user limit long before that. All we said was that MN himself said there were a few thousand places while you claimed there was only 1000. I knew it was something like that, i forgot the eject button kicks it back to dashboard. But hey, as long as it doesnt spin the disc im ok. Sucks for you 20 gigers, im running on 120 souly becuase my dvd drive is LOUD as HELL. A LEAF BLOWER. So ill rather get the bigger hard drive. Anyway, thats for the vid. Installed Saints Row 2 to HD & it loads almost 60% faster. all my old themes are useless now as they STRECH which screws up the background image.
