Chosen One
why don't you just install using a usb stick? Is it possible to extra the files to an another partition in the drive and select it at boot to install from that? UncleSpellbinder
why don't you just install using a usb stick? Haven't tried that before. And, anyway, I don't have one. No biggie, I can wait. Stonkwell Bogtrotter
Is it possible to extra the files to an another partition in the drive and select it at boot to install from that? Extract to another drive/ partition, click Setup, then go from there. You can choose where to install. That's what I do each build ;) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/751774-windows-7-build-7068-screenshot-yes-its-real/page/14/#findComment-590772972 Share on other sites
xJakex
You can also use Virtual CloneDrive to mount the ISO  Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/751774-windows-7-build-7068-screenshot-yes-its-real/page/14/#findComment-590772974 Share on other sites
Ekhaatvensters
Haven't tried that before. And, anyway, I don't have one. No biggie, I can wait. I admire your patience, not something most Windows 7 leak testers have. I've already driven to the shops to buy some DVD's while the torrent finishes. :D But you might even find by the time you get to installing there's a new build or even RC, if you're really waiting a couple of days. :/ Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/751774-windows-7-build-7068-screenshot-yes-its-real/page/14/#findComment-590772984 Share on other sites

Udedenkz
In the previous leaked build, WMP also was buggy. That is one of the two reasons why I suggest you never use it, second being performance. UncleSpellbinder
Oh you have got to be joking me! This thing requires 20+GB of Space to Upgrade. Part of the reason I'll be doing a fresh install. Less apt to have any bugs or problems from upgrading as well. Zero problems. I didn't "trash" anything. You mentioned the need for 20 Gigs to upgrade. In response, I simply said... "Part of the reason I'll be doing a fresh install. Less apt to have any bugs or problems from upgrading as well." Both points are true. I didn't say there are problems if anyone upgrades, I said you are "Less apt to have any bugs or problems" with a fresh install. Not that you will have problems (though many do). No trashing intended.
