Another thing that's been bugging me: Sometimes, even if I have enough money, if I go to buy a property, it will say "You cannot buy x at this time. Please come back later." Does anyone know why?

if the icon is blue, you need to finish shakedown (after you kill diaz), otherwise i have no idea what's happening, and that should only happen if you are trying to buy profit-making buildings.

If anyone has any tips on the Demolition Man mission, I'm all ears. The helicopter hates me.

If you know how to fly the regular big helicopter then it's same as that to rc. 9=forward, 6=backwards, 4=hower turn right, 5=hower turn left W=up, D=down, I use it on the numpad, the best time I had was in demolition man is 1.36 min left after that I had between 45 to 55 sec(I try to k*ll all the workers and the security guard).

Nobody told me about this but I just saw a news helicopter today and that damn thing take's turn like crazy. Here's the location of all the heli's

Mavericks:

On top of Hyman Condos (must own Hyman Condos).

On top of Starfish Island mansion.

Police Maverick:

On top of Downtown police station.

VCN Maverick:

On top of VCN building in Downtown.

Sparrows (these all start checkpoint missions):

Behind the Pay-and-Spray in Ocean Beach is a pink building. On top of it

is the Sparrow that starts a checkpoint race.

Across the street from the Vice Point Pay-and-Spray is a large apartment

complex. Turn right as you enter and you'll see it in plain sight.

Little Haiti Sparrow--This one is best reached if you already have a

helicopter. A few blocks behind Kaufman Cabs in Little Haiti and on top of

a roof is this Sparrow. (Also reached by a Unique Jump)

Starting from the Greasy Chopper in Downtown, head north. The first

building on your right has a white staircase that leads to this Sparrow.

You have to have G-Spotlight completed to get this Sparrow.

Sea Sparrow:

Behind the Starfish Island mansion (must have 80 hidden packages).

Hunters:

Northernmost part of the air base (must have 100 hidden packages and/or

completion of 'Keep Your Friends Close').

Southernmost part of the east island, on a helipad next to a building

(must have both 100 hidden packages and completion of 'Keep Your Friends

Close').

Go around and kill the guards first, that's what I did, and remember the time doest start til you pick up the first bomb. It's really easy once you get the hang of it, just go slowly.

BAH!

I'm having a hard time believing the height and distance for your jumps. Can you provide a bit more convincing evidence. A video is best but a screenshot is better than just a freaking text file that can easily be edited in two seconds...

Niel, how the F$^@ could you get that much distance with that piece of S*(# car without cheating?

Has anybody else gotten a Triple insane stunt yet?

Lol, I don't even have the game installed anymore and I deleted most of those awesome stunt vids but I've still got the save game files.

Redrope or anybody else, have you been able to do my uber insane spins yet?

You use fraps. They just barely released a new version that you have to pay for (to remove the stupid "demo" watermark and enable higher resolutions) so I would recommend using the old 1.9 version. Just search for the old version on google or a p2p app. I guess the best way to do it is to do the trick, start the replay, then start the video capture so that the game won't slow down while you're doing the trick. If you have a fast enough computer and vsync is on, you might be able to do capture while doing the trick. Be sure to run at 640x480 resolution and turn on some FSAA and anisotropic filtering since the res will be so low anyways. once you have it capture, use Virtual Dub to re-encode it to XviD or DivX.

I couldn't really get that far/high this time but this should be enough...

You're not even in a car!!! Okay, you could have fallen off a bike but why isn't the camera showing you? Geez, and 200 health? I thought you could only get up to 175 (150 after pizza, another 25 from having your way with a hooker). Care to explain?

Well... I am inside the vehicle. I chosed to use that camera mode so that you can't see which vehicle it is.

When you complete the game you can get 200 health, same with armor.

    • How does it compare to the "SeeStar S30 Pro" and the "Vespera PRO 2"?
    • Indeed. And note that those units are MUCH cheaper than this new Steam Machine...ahem.
