And finally, my first use of my new toy:

Dude, for a second that reminded me of that on CoD:MW2 map...

Argh, I wish this weather here would get better... All of the snow is melting, and I am patiently awaiting some good snowfall... I already have a few shoots in mind. Lame. Where are the negatives I crave.

Thems close nation states.

I reckon that's a smaller gap than the gap between Fife and Edinburgh across the Firth of Forth, picture certainly seems to indicate that.

I'm off to google maps to get a better look. Where in Danmark?

It's in "Helsing?r" / Elsinore

very nice. if you don't mind saying, how much did you buy it for?

i've had my eye on one of these for a while but they are either snapped up to quickly or priced too high...

~380 euro. They appear on ebay once in a while, I believe there are some "buy now" items available right now. To be honestly, it's not that of an extraordinary lens. Yes, it's sharp at f2.8 and upto about f11. At 1.8 and 2.0 it's rather soft, but very acceptable. But hey, it's almost 20 years old. And for that age it's bloody good. Other than that, if you don't mind manual focus, go for it. Otherwise save up for 70-200/2.8 or at least 135/2 DC.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
