Steam now has a 4 pack for sale. It's actually $149.97, that's 4 games for the price of 3...which isn't bad, but it really is a day late and a dollar short.

Yeah just saw that too. Current UK price is ?29.99 on Steam although I can get a physical copy for ?25. Now I just need 3 more people who'll buy it and I can get it for ?22.50 through Steam.

Good to see that you were playing on a PBBans streaming server ;)

Stats are currently showing over 1000 servers streaming, 236 total bans - 142 in the last 24 hours. The majority of the latest will be from the #50120 violation - Evenbalance wanted to take a chunk out of one of the major cheat sites, and succeeded! Waiting for the appeals to roll in now ;)

Yeah I played BC2 online for the first time today and I must've seen about 20-30 of those messages in a few hours.

that's why VAC is fail and PB is awesome. does it in real time, not monthly...

Yeah, its so awesome that it more often blocks legit players on some bull**** reasons than it bans actual offenders. I would rather play with hackers than use that piece of ****. Also Evenbalance is probably most ignorant company ever only behind apple seeing how they never do anything.

On another note - am i the only that has http://badcompany2.ea.com/soldier showing 0 everywhere for 2nd or so day?

PB only kicks, occasionally handing out global GUID bans for certain violations. It is the streaming communities that provide the lovely instant bans - specifically those that use the UCON method of streaming as opposed to repository :)

Tried to play some games today. I say tried. The only servers I could get on was the ones in my history. Kept getting my favourite message:

When I do get in there seems to be a flood of the following image, like every 5 minutes.

Which begs the question, is this happening just on the PC? Because If so I'll abandon ship and get the PS3 version. Im sick and tired of it all.

I am in love with the M1 Garand. So much ownage in a neat little package :) It and the M14 are my two favourite weapons in this game. So much more satisfying to use than any M60 or noob-tube/pro-pipe :)

Also, @Anaron: http://www.battlefie...ny2.com/veteran <-- Veteran site is now back up and integrated into the BC2 site.

Every time I try it, it keeps saying

    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
