I tht he needed a different partner.. but then I tht abt this and who has he got at Man Utd to partner him? Berba or Owen? and both have been pretty bad.. he somehow was a different player.. Fergie knows how to motivate him better I guess..

Someone just pointed out to me that so far in the World Cup, that France gave up, America showed up late, and England is left to fight Germany.

As a CB for my team I can answer this for you.. you can play the GK wrongly by playing the defence infront of him wrongly, therefore making him too exposed.. unless you have a Superman/Flash in goal, no GK can cope without the defence covering him properly.. exception ofcourse are the GK's at Arsenal FC who cannot cope even with the defence covering them..

On another note.. what England fans need to do is to take to take some beachballs with them to the ground and through them infront of the German GK

That's playing the defence incorrectly rather than the goalkeeper.

In retrospect, I can probably answer my own question; sweeper keeper or normal keeper.
