I've seen those Strike Freedom images countless times :p We want to see your build images!

Can't wait for 00 Raiser tbh. Also, seeing Epyon Gundam makes me want to rewatch Gundam Wing badly. Heck, lets just start with it :p

I don't even have it yet.

What about you? Works both ways :p

I've shown my RX-78-2 and Gundam 00 QAN[T] a few pages back :p And you know what comes of me trying to make shots while building a Gunpla, it just can't happen

You should take some more :D Bring them outside into the natural sunlight (Y)

^If I bring them downstairs they're going to lose their current poses. Not really wanting that to happen tbh.

Lets just wait till I've got the iPhone 4 in a few weeks. It has a better camera compared with my HTC Desire.

oh, and I got my PG Strike Freedom. And only that. Cause I had no more space in my luggage to fit anymore MGs. Price was relatively cheap. $182 CAD it came out to. Didn't have to pay tax either. :D

^LOL! Also, that new series is a complete new Universe inside of Gundam. So they're trying new things in it with this new AGE system (it's an adaptable system). It allows the Gundam to adapt to a given situation, and get armor and whatnot on the fly.

I'm kinda unclear about the new series because on one side I don't like some of the new things and on the other side I'm really curious. The enemy mobile suits look like dragons btw. That's at least one thing I certainly don't like. The teaser showed some promising things though it to me it didn't really feel like Gundam. To me it felt more like it's a complete different series in which they use the name Gundam and in which they've got a mobile suit which looked like a blend of RX-78-2 and 00 Gundam. Oh well, we'll see how it develops.

I dunno man, that lead Gundam looks kinda ugly. But that's what I said about the 00 Suits. I guess they grew on me. Let's see what happens with AGE. Also about the PG SF, I've spent 5 hours on 1/2 on the legs alone. THere are sooo many parts to it it's ridiculous.

^It's what I kinda meant; it's just a mixture of RX-78-2 and 00 Gundam. You just don't mix the 2 up. I was hoping for a series like "08th MS Team" with mobile suits that looked more like this age's military equipment and with more grown up protagonists. I've never had a dislike of the Gundam 00 suits. The only ones I disliked where the Throne Gundams and at first 00 Gundam. Though for some reason the 1080p version that I've watched as a re-watch made me fall in love with the mobile suit.

I'd build 1 part a day if I'd make a PG set. That way it'd stay fun and you wouldn't get frustrated easily :p

^I know, I've had discussions about that fact several times with others. Though to my understanding they made that decisions to be able to make simpler Gunpla models. The 4th generation of Gundam 00's Gundams where even simpler.

^Because it has more detail. The one you saw/posted is a low scale Gunpla, those never look accurate. If they'd made a 1/100 MG scale Gunpla off of it it would look like the one in that image.

Did you know that Yoshiyuki Tomino (director of the first Gundam series) said that people should let go of Gundam? He never planned for this at all hype at all. He just wanted to leave it at 1 series. From the first series it also wasn't about Gunpla, they came with that idea later on.

I just don't know. With they where already trying new things with Gundam 00 by changing the whole look of what a Gundam should look like, I was alright with that. But now they're changing a whole lot more. Dragon mobile suits as the enemy mobile suit, kids who look like they're from Digimon. I'm just going to keep having an open mind about Gundam AGE. It might turn out to be exactly what a Gundam series should be. The teaser trailer showed some promising things and at least a few space scenes. The later is already a plus to be honest, this way we know it won't all be earth based. I look forward to watch the first episode and see what this series has to offer. Who knows, in the end it might as well be a good thing that they're trying to give Gundam a refreshed look.

Yeah I'm not sure about the art direction either. I like Gundam because it has a more 'adult' feeling to it, (you know with all the nude scenes and all  ) and the art direction is more tended to adults. I really don't like the Digimon art direction. More tended to kids. I guess they want to go for a cleaner look, not blood splattering everywhere and guts spewing. On that note, it'd be awesome if there was a rated R Gundam movie. How epic would that be. Like a live-action with CG comparable to Transformers. Wouldn't that be grand?

^Nope, I would really dislike a live action movie of Gundam :p Anime isn't made for live-action, American cartoons etc are. Also, I just think that with this series they want to attract a whole new audience which is why they might've chosen for younger kids/simpler artstyle. Thought as always the story is important as well, so lets just hope that isn't toned down a whole lot. And going by the teaser trailer, they might've kept the story leveled with other Gundam series.

Also, there already is a American live-action TV movie of Gundam: G-Saviour

Yeah but that TV movie is so anime-ish. I'm talking about keeping the original gundam designs and you know making them realistic. I think it would pretty cool lol :p

Naah, IMO it wouldn't be cool at all. Just look at how they're butchering all the other live action adaptions of anime. Anime just isn't made for live-action movies.

That's cause they are doing it wrong. LOL.

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
