I been thinking of making a multiplayer co-op level thats based on the last level of the protoss side mission, so what do you guys think? Good idea? So far I modified the level a bit, but I haven't tried it online yet (I wonder if Blizzard let me publish something like this)

SC 2 was a bit short, and did not have a campaign for zerg or protos (compared to SC 1) :(

See you say that, but we get 29 missions vs the first game which had 10 per side (30 in total....) so it's not that big a difference. Plus you get a few protos missions thrown in anyway.

Do It! I'll certainly give it a try (Y).

Me and Anaron just whooped some ass. Im glad I found a fellow neowin. Now, RAZOR get on bro! I know your on, but I havent played with you yet, we need to play soon. All the vets need to get together and own some bitches. Me and Anaron did that tonight.

I'd play with you guys but I think I'd hold you back. I'm a fast learner though!

I play with anyone who WANTS to play. I dont care too much about stats, more about teamwork, so feel free to add me on bnet.

@Matt: i wish there was an organized way(tournament mode!?) of actually get a roster from this thread going.

I just say add whoever has giving out there character code or email and just play.

OK, I didn't anticipate that I would like this game, but oh my goodness. It's been a while since I have found a game that has kept my attention for 4+ hours without making me feel it. I'm so impressed that I have instructed my wife to collect mine from HMV on the way home from work ;).

Big thanks to Paul for the trial key :D

I was playing for a while at a friend where he has actually paid for this game. He likes to play online, I dont know exactly why. Before I try to play it online I like to see how this game really is, because Im not that good as my friend, so I play like guess (I think thats what its called). After the fourth mission I have to say that the IA of the game is pretty bad. Crappy or better, ****ty. The more time you take to complete the mission, the harder the game become. Its pretty annoying and frustrating in many levels of frustration. You start a lil frustrated and with the time you ended up more frustrated that in real life. You take your time to build the places (to create a bot you need to create a couple of stuff that need some minerals or some **** like that and to build that you need another kind of bots to get those stupid minerals and so on) and then come those things destroying EVERYTHING in their path. WTF?!. Whats the point of this?. Make you frustrated?. For that is the reality (aka no job, no women because no job, etc).

I dont know till now why my friend like to play with this ****. More online, where chat with the other that destroy consciously what he build. He has fun of that. I dont see any fun on this. And to me is sad. Sad that someone destroy what you, with a lot of effort, you build.

We need a neowin training group or something to learn tacs. I'd like to play multiplayer, but im more what they call turtle type, ie i like to build up my forces. Rush tactics with just 1 or 2 types of untis kinda spoils it for me.

Anyways if anyone wants to add me, the game name is 'Earlgrey'

lol, I'm not even that good man. I really hyped up SC2 because I really like the story. But yeah, I'll defenitley would be up for some 3v3. As long as I'm your guys side

I mean like, re-activating itself, or something like that.

yes it does , easy way to confrim is to move your computers clock forward 30 days and then disconnect from the internet it will ask you to validate your game. if you do this you will have to login again to battle.net and to reactivate guest mode.

Okay, thanks. :)

okay... here are my thoughts (i tried razorwing... i really did)

this game is EXACTLY the same at the one they released 12 or so years ago. now depending on who you talk to, that could be a good thing or a bad thing. But for me, it's not. I never liked the original. I played the first few missions, and while the session wasn't a bad time, i have no intention of going back to it. Thank god for that guest pass thing and i didn't pay for this. I literally cannot see any difference between 2 and the 1st one in terms of gameplay. Im sure the story is nuts (it's blizzard) and the developper tools are crazy (its blizzard) but for 12 years you think they could do more other then rehash the same game (i guess the entire nation of korea has no beef with that).

And also honestly the graphics are not great. Cut scenes, blurry and jaded. in game graphics aren't too bad (dawn of war looks better though IMO). Ran great though on my machine (maxed out @ 1680x1050). But yeah, im glad i didn't buy into the hype and buy the game.

Now blizzard, hurry the fraack up with a real warcraft sequel (fave RTS of all time and i think WoW is gay)

    • Payday TWO!! Is 13 years old man I feel old - I remember trying it out and if I did not know I would say 5-6 years ago or something
    • Payday 2 engine upgrade adds 64-bit and DX11 support, drastically shrinks install size by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Payday 2, the most popular entry in the heisting game franchise, is getting a surprising update after all these years. This is slated to be a complete engine upgrade that will enhance almost every aspect of the 13-year-old title, targeting performance, loading times, file size, rendering backend, and more. Developer Sidetrack Games is planning a beta to test out the new version ahead of the full public launch. The development team today revealed that the long-awaited upgrade to the 64-bit architecture is happening with this Diesel 3.0 engine update. By letting the game use more ram than 4GB, it is said to improve stability and compatibility on most hardware. It should also help modders in the long term with implementing larger changes too. "While many of the changes are made on the backend and not everything will be visible to you guys because it is a massive rewrite of the entire codebase, there will be a lot of things that you can look forward to," Sidetrack explained. Payday 2 will also hop over from DirectX 9 to 11. Instead of visual improvements, this is slated to reduce the amount of VRAM used by the title, letting more lower-end hardware access the title and run it better. Since these changes would require a complete redownload of the game anyway, Sidetrack says it has revamped "the game's packaging and bundling system." This should reduce the installation size from 86GB to 32GB. "So, now it's time to finally move the game to your SSDs," added the studio. The Payday 2 Diesel Engine 3.0 update is entering open beta on June 30 for Steam users. No console release plans were announced today. Sidetrack Games says it has been working on this complete rewrite of the codebase for the last nine months. While these changes should break most mods, the studio encouraged modders to use the beta period to repair their creations with support from the development team.
