England should have won this one.. this result will do a world of good to the confidence still..

India prob has the best batting and worst balling lineup out of all the teams that will get to the quarter final...

Agreed on both counts, I still think making 338 batting second was a pretty exceptional achievement however. At least there are signs for England that we do indeed have the armoury to mix it with the very best teams in this cup.

In the subcontinent, specially India its not very hard to chase a total in day-night games coz the dew in the evening makes it hard to grip the ball and also makes it soft and the pitches are all batting tracks.. still you have to keep your head and keep going in the heat and humidity..

well, it works the other way to there's reverse swing that comes into play making batting a bit harder.

England has Strauss. That's it. He's the most exceptional player on the side. England lost because the rest of the team was mediocre.

Strauss batted for the whole team.

India is not going to win the world cup with the bowling they have. They need up pull up their socks and be decent at bowling and in the field.

Exactly what i've been worried about. Sometimes they just can't keep it tight and give runs away far too easily.

I disagree. Strauss was star man this time, but we have people like Bell, Pietersen, Prior, Collingwood (admittedly not in great form ATM) all with a lot of talent.

Wow!!! What a win for Ireland :D thats cricket for you.. you are over the moon one day and back down to earth the next.. I think England felt they had won the match after scoring 300+ and then getting 5 quick wickets complacency crept in. Credit to Ireland though for not giving up and exposing the holes in England's bowling and fielding.. I think this is a better win than the one over Pakistan in 2007 WC... great innings from O' Brien and Mooney at the end..

On another note... did anyone else catch this story?

so i went to sleep last night when it was 4-110 thought dam bad collapse on the way. Woke up to this......****. England now seem to have the opposite problem they had in Aus. Both aus and england have been playing on different pitches so it will take time BUT this loss will set them wayback.

England probably has the worst bowling lineup in this WC ( among test playing nations).. What are they in doing in subcontinent with so many pacers?.. Its hard to win a game here without decent spinner and england only got one..

Not the case, we have been using Yardy as well.

uh what... broad and anderson by stats over the past two years are some of the best in the world. swann is one of the best spinners. Australia is the only team with a full pace attack. Every other team have a full-time spinner. Only the subcontinent teams have two frontline spinner every other team have a frontline and lesser known newer spinner.

This article is a work of fiction.

I am talking about current form.. England gave up most run compared to any other country in their last 5 ODI's (333 OZ, 279 OZ, 292 NET, 338 IND, 327 IRE)..

Yeh by form they are rubbish.... by stats they are decent. i hope they get knocked out first round or go to the end so other teams have an easy path but they are well on their way.

I am not sure about the malware, i have copy pasted the ICC Cricket Logo and Time-Table from wwwdotfulllytimepassdotcom..

It's my mistake if that site has a malware...

On the topic, this world cup is getting interesting, some good matches, one fantastic tie game and one or two unexpected result i.e Bangladesh bowled out for 58 runs by West Indies..

Zimbabwe are the only team in this world cup with 5 genuine spinners in the playing 11..

Ray Price opened the bowling for them in the last 2 games and has been brilliant..

Not surprisingly, their bowling rate is impressive, 18 overs an hour!

    • For me it has everything feature wise that I want. But boy the app sucks big time. This and Teams. Ever since they made the transition to WebView it has been slow AF. I mostly use both apps in the browser now because of too much memory being used by these 2 apps. Hoping that native versions are being worked upon.
    • Nearly 70% of Steam users now run Windows 11 by Taras Buria The May 2026 Steam Hardware & Software Survey results are now available on the official Steam website, showing Windows 11's continuous growth among the gaming audience. As of early June 2026, nearly 70% of all participants reported having a Windows 11-powered PC, while Windows 10's market share is steadily declining. According to Valve, in May 2026, Windows 11 increased its market share to 69.76% (+2.02 points), while Windows 10 dropped to 23.99% (-1.64 points). 64-bit Windows 7 is still showing up in Valve's reports, and apparently, about 0.07% of all survey participants still use the 17-year-old operating system. Valve no longer updates its client for Windows 7, but it still can access the platform, so the Windows 7 holdouts can stay away from newer Windows versions. Overall, 93.85% of all users run Windows (+0.38 points), while Linux is second with 3.99% (-0.53 points). macOS is third with at 2.16% (+0.15 points). The most popular Linux flavor is Arch Linux (0.35%), while macOS 26.4.1 is currently the dominant macOS release. On the hardware side, the most popular picks include an Intel processor (53.94% against AMD's 46.06%) with six cores (28.02%, -0.6 points), 16 GB of memory (41.14%, -0.28 points), and an NVIDIA graphics card (72.42%, with AMD having 19.13% and Intel 8.05%). The most popular graphics card on Steam is the desktop NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (3.85%, -0.14 points), while the laptop RTX 4060 is second with 3.77%, and the RTX 3050 is third with 3.10%. The average amount of VRAM is 8GB (25.89%), and the dominant display resolution is the classic 1920x1080 pixels (51.89%, -0.32 points). As usual, you can find more details from the latest survey on the official website. The results for April 2026 are available here.
    • This would be the ideal scenario for the context menus
    • Personally, I think these things are way over rated and way over priced, even at this price. I recently had Frontier Fiber installed with 2 of these devices and although they worked, I switched back to my own router and AP setup and get way better consistency on wireless speed than with Eeros. Wired speed seems to be more consistent also. Will be returning Eeros soon. I had told Frontier I didn't want them to begin with.
    • Yes, exactly what I have been thinking. Don't make the context menu simpler, make it smarter to learn what I actually use. And then, give me the ability to pin settings that I rarely use but need forget where they are.
