but in their defense they are tactical flashlights and not regular ones. They are VERY bright IRL.

This. I own a tactical flashlight of only 200 lumens, and that alone is enough to make me go blind for a few seconds within a distance of a few metres from it. Good thing I always leave the red filter on, haha.

EDIT: To the above, although true, a monitor cannot reproduce the actual "brightness" of that image. It diffuses pretty rapidly from the main beam, but if concentrated, still packs quite a punch,

Anyone in the US have a Dr. Pepper code they can send my way? I want that kitty dogtag >.>

Send me a PM tomorrow to remind me. We happen to have a case of Dr Pepper in my work fridge, I redeemed 4 codes already, but think I saw 2 more bottles in the fridge as of 5 PM today when I left.

played for a good bit today and had a blast , its amazkng when all the graphics are maxed out !!! almost lvl 45

It's fun playing with you and your friend, it's just to bad my ping was so high on most of the servers we played on that I was nearly worthless. I think I only had a positive kdr in one game. :s

Ha weird thing just happen. I was on a normal server flying a jet, and some how i got so close to the ground that i crashed into of the highway signs.

I thought i was dead, but all it did was COMPLETELY STOP the jet, and i was able to get out and even even crawl back up the jet and get back in it, and fly off.

Wasn't even damaged. I'm going to try to do this intentionally next time i play :p

Weird, ha

Great parking

Finding this harder than BC2, which I wasn't that good at at all, but I seemed to get to grips with it quicker.

Focusing on engineer to try and get myself some experience, don't know if I should just switch to assault?

I am thinking about switching to Engineer from Assault. Not that its bad or anything

I pick one then try and max out then go back to the others and use for the first few deaths in a round then go back to my main one. This way you don't get frustrated with no perks and can have a little fun.

Someone should really revoke your pilots license...

What GFx settings do you have the game on? i noticed we had the same GFX Card (from your signature).

I have one of the first gen i7core sand it auto puts all gfx settings on high, with 16xaafiltering or whahtever its called in the game.

i usually average 50-60fps in game, which is good enough, i don't notice any super low FPS.

I think EA is doing weird stuff with the servers. yesterday it kept kicking me off games and such. today seems much better

BTW i purposely hit the sign again, but this time the jet exploded :(

I actually turned it up to Ultra and lowered a few AA and other settings. I am still tinkering to get the best setup. I got about 50-60 FPS with that. I'll let you know my exact settings when I get home. I may actually try it on high and jack up the AA etc.

Sorry man, what part of the US are you in, most of us are in texas so we choose texas servers just out of habit, next time we will look for other servers to better even out the ping.

they need to. All i do is crash. I have no idea how people can fly around locking on to people. I think i've killed OTHER PERSON (besides myself) so far with a jet, and ididn't even see them and i shot them.

how do people lock onto others? As soon as i get in a jet i get the warning locked on message.

It is very hard to start with especially for people who didn't pick it up on launch and get straight in a jet, I spent about 35mins flying around in various games before finally getting my 1st kill, cause I just kept getting shot down by people from the US who got it 3 days earlier than me and had already got missiles.

Persevere a bit, use the external view to locate people and then switch to internal for the dog fight, you will get some kills after a while, its like 1 kill for flares and it only 2 or 3 to unlock the missiles, then it gets a lot easier.

    • Xbox Insiders get Xbox 360 achievements and Gamertag character upgrades by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Microsoft is continuing its fast-paced update schedule for Xbox Insiders. Today, the company announced a new slate of features it is rolling out to Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring, which includes an expansion to the gamertag system, Xbox 360 achievements, and more. The unique Gamertag that Xbox users can choose for their profile is getting more characters. Instead of the 12-character limit, Insiders will now be able to get a Gamertag that's 15 characters long. The 12-character limit will still apply to Gamertags that are not unique or contain any non-Latin characters. Meanwhile, Microsoft is adding Xbox 360 game support to its Game Hubs. Selecting an installed Xbox 360 game on a modern Xbox console will now show achievement progress, captures, and other information. Achievement pop-ups are back for these classics too, which should be good news for achievement hunters. The next change is for Xbox players who can't wait to jump into their games when an update is required. "If a game requires an update and is available to stream through your Game Pass membership, you can start playing immediately with cloud gaming while the update downloads in the background," explains Microsoft. The final change of this Insider update is once again to the game cards. Insiders will find that all games, both released and upcoming, will now have a simple button to add to their profile's wishlist, making the process much easier from a single place. This Xbox update is rolling out today to Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring. As usual, Microsoft aims to bring it to more Insiders over time before they reach all Xbox owners. Head here to find out how to join the Xbox Insider Program to get a chance to test these features and upcoming ones on both consoles and PC.
