Reading through that thread... people actually want the tac-light to be left alone. It confuses the hell out of me how they can sit there and say a light that is brighter than the sun in broad daylight is just fine.

Maybe this is what it's like to get old. I turned 30 this year and think my gaming skills are definitely in decline! :(

If your motor/perception skills are at a decline at 30, you have serious issues and should see a doctor instead of writing about it on the forums :p

I have no issues and I'm closer to 40 than 30 now.

That light is so annoying. You are completely umatched when you are face to face with someone with a light you don't stand a chance. Maybe they should add sunglasses as an unlock to balance it out lol.

I think the same. The flashlight just gives the user of it a huge advantage, with very minimal threat. You don't see the flash light until its in your face , and once it is, you better hope you have a flash light in their face as well, or else you are in trouble. They either need to add a counter to it, or put a bigger downside to it, like making it more visible farther away, and less blinding.

Who is a pro pilot and what pilot joystick do you suggest I purchase? ( <$80)

I am using a program called MoitionInJoy, it allows a PS3 controller to function properly with custom keystrokes on a PC...

I am holding the left side of it, in my left hand, in order to move, sprint, crouch/prone, reload, grenade, interact, spot, and gadget. In my right hand, I have the mouse. : ) Aim, fire, scope, jump, melee. It has salvaged my first 600 kills, a .6ish K/D ratio into what is now 1,400 kills, 1.2 K/D. :)

It is awesome and way easier to me to use than W, A, S, D, etc. However, piloting isn't very easy...

Its really not hard to kill someone with a taclight, its definitely not true that you "don't stand a chance".

Shoot at middle of light

???

Profit!

Is it just me, or are the servers on the 360 are abarren wasteland? US East region. MW3 might have had it's impact...

Plenty of games on my end. I stick to Normal/Conquest only with US East/US South.

One of my best rounds yet in terms of award score.. http://battlelog.bat...75/2/185530357/

Well, it's not bad. I'm sticking to one region to minimise lag (hate the net code). Usually if I wanted a specific map in a specific mode, no problem. But looking for CQ Metro today, all servers were at 0 players. But yeah, within a week, they'll start to populate again.

I'm not kidding at all. There is no worse experience in Battlefield 3 than playing conquest on Operation Metro.

If you were to poll it with all other options listed, it would get 80%+ votes.

Conquest or Rush in Metro are the games best when the player number doesnot exceed from 32

I play the XB360 version. So it is only 12 v 12. So that makes a big difference. /shrug Still a great lot of fun, and revives/heals galore.

I've been encountering many stupid "bad luck" or false "suicides" in the last 2 days. Once I was was sprinting, jumped over a concrete slab, and I randomly died from suicide... Another time I was lying prone in high rocks and turned around quickly and died from bad luck, no falling involved...

Anyone else getting these extremely annoying false deaths?

I don't care for conquest Metro regardless of the player size.

Yeah I'm on 360 as well and metro is good fun, always find someone to kill, some of the bigger maps I find periods with noone around, I can see 32 v 32 on PC would be insane on metro.

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
