Acer unveils its $1,099 curved 35-inch monitor

If you've been looking for a curved 35-inch monitor, Acer has just made its Predator Z35P available for pre-order. The monitor offers quite a feature set, but will also set you back $1,099.

Acer's Predator Z35P is the latest addition to its lineup and is a behemoth that offers 35-inches of screen real estate. As you can guess from the image above, that the monitor is a curved ultra wide model with a 21:9 aspect ratio, and a resolution of 3440x1440. The monitor caters to gamers by offering a 2500:1 contrast ratio, a 100Hz refresh rate, Nvidia G-SYNC support, and a 4ms response time.

For added convenience, the Predator Z35P has a pair of built-in 9-watt speakers and a wealth of ports for connectivity that include HDMI, DisplayPort 1.2, and four USB 3.0 ports. While the stand may look rigid, it does offer users the ability for customization with it including tilt, swivel, and height adjustments.

If interested, you can now pre-order the Acer Z35P directly from Amazon for $1,099 USD. While the Z35P's price tag might be quite steep for most, you can also opt for Acer's Z35, which comes in at a much lower price of $899. The Z35P will arrive at retail locations in the US towards the end of the month.
