Android 6.0 Marshmallow begins rolling out to HTC Desire Eye, One E8 and One M8 Eye

Having upgraded many of its One M9 and One M8 handsets to Android 6.0 in recent weeks, HTC has now started rolling out its Marshmallow update for three more of its handsets in Europe and China.

HTC has been continuing its rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow to its flagship handsets, the One M9, and the previous-generation One M8, in recent weeks. Now, the company is expanding its rollout to some devices further down its range.

As HTC Source reports, the Desire Eye has started to receive the Marshmallow update in Europe, and will reportedly get the update in the United States "in a matter of weeks". In China, the One E8 has begun to receive Android 6.0 too.

And in both Europe and China, the update is reportedly making its way to the HTC Desire Eye as well.

In each case, a smaller update is said to be required in order to prepare the devices for the full upgrade to Android 6.0.
