Apple releases a new macOS 10.12 Sierra GM seed

With the launch of Apple's desktop operating system less than a week away, the firm has released a new GM seed, bringing the build number to 16A323. There are no noticeable changes.

Apple today posted another GM seed for macOS 10.12 Sierra in the Developer center. The new build is 16A323, which is a bump from last week's 16A320.

Obviously, there's not a lot that's new here. This is the second GM seed, which means that the company likely found a couple of bugs that it wanted to squash before the public release, which is less than a week away.

macOS Sierra is the next major update to OS X, and it contains a number of new features, the most notable of which is Siri. You'll also be able to unlock your Mac with your Apple Watch, assuming that you have two-factor authentication turned on in your Apple account. Users will get other features that bring macOS on par with iOS, such as picture-in-picture video and photos that organize themselves by people, places, and things.

For the first time since OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, Apple has ended support for certain Macs. If you're not sure whether your PC will be supported, check out our list.
