Apple starts shipping pre-orders of the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max

Apple

It was only last week when Apple announced its latest smartphones, the iPhone Xs, Xs Max, and iPhone Xr. The same week of the announcement, Apple opened pre-orders for the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max. Now, it looks like orders have begun to ship, with expected delivery on September 21.

If you were dedicated enough to stay awake when the pre-orders went live at midnight on September 14, chances are, you received a confirmation email that your order is now on its way, scheduled for delivery this coming Friday. Surprisingly, even if you didn't stay up until midnight, the wait times for delivery weren't all that bad the next morning.

Unfortunately, things have changed since last week, and if you are looking to pre-order the iPhone Xs Max, you'll be looking at a delivery date during the first or second week of October. If you want to try and secure one sooner, you can always head to your preferred carrier or visit a physical retail location that carriers iPhones on the day of the release. The iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max will be available starting on September 21.
