Darth Vader-Inspired PS4 to hit shelves this November

Sony announces Star Wars inspired PlayStation 4 hardware and bundles at the D23 Expo - plus four classic Star Wars games with updated graphics.

Sony surprised Star Wars fans this weekend at the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim with a new limited edition Darth Vader-styled PlayStation 4 console. The famed villain is displayed across the top of the console which also comes with a customized Dualshock 4 Wireless controller.

The console, sporting a 500GB hard drive (1TB in the EU), and controller will be included in two Star Wars-themed consoles available on November 17.

The first bundle will feature Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition along with a voucher for four graphically updated classic Star Wars games – including fan-favorite Jedi Starfighter. The other classic titles updated for the PS4 are Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge and Star Wars Bounty Hunter.

The second bundle replaces Battlefront with a Star Wars-theme Disney Infinity 3.0 game set and a number of physical figurines. The Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars bundle will be exclusive to Wal-Mart in the US and available in select EU countries.

Sony also revealed a third bundle will be offered with a standard console and controller with Battlefront and the classic game set.
