Dragon Ball FighterZ announced for the Nintendo Switch, releases later this year

One of the most popular fighting games of the year is heading to the Nintendo Switch this year, with Dragon Ball FighterZ being announced for the console during Nintendo's E3 presentation. The game was originally announced for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 at last year's E3, and released for the three platforms in January.

The Arc System Works-developed 2.5D fighter has an art style that is taken straight from the Dragon Ball series, and features many of the iconic fighters that fans know and love from both Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. In addition to three versus three tag team battles, the game also features a story mode with its own unique story arc.

Although an exact release date was not announced, the critically acclaimed fighting game will shoot its way on to the Nintendo Switch sometime later this year.
