Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is one step closer to being friends with Beyoncé

Steve Ballmer, Microsoft's former chief executive, is enjoying his time away from the company with his new project: an NBA team he bought just so he could meet Beyoncé.

While former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer enjoys his life away from the Windows developer, his true motive for buying the NBA’s L.A. Clippers is suddenly clear: meeting Beyoncé.

At Thursday’s Clippers game, Ballmer took a giant leap toward achieving his dream, sitting with rapper Jay Z, better known as husband of Beyoncé. The team’s Twitter account posted a photo of the two together, clearly in a not-so-subtle attempt to entice Beyoncé to come to a game and meet Ballmer.

The photo comes just two weeks after the Clippers’ Twitter account posted an image of Ballmer dancing to a Fergie performance, undoubtedly made in an effort to show Beyoncé that he knows pop music.

Beyoncé has yet to respond to Ballmer’s obvious overtures.
