Gallery: This is Microsoft's Xbox booth at E3 2017

In previous years, there was always a bit of competitive energy in the air when it came to E3. This year was a bit different, as the big three: Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft - were not all located in the same hall. While Sony and Nintendo were still together in West Hall, Microsoft relocated its booth into South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

There was also a noticeable size difference in the Xbox booth from previous years, with less theatrics and flash, and more of a focus on having folks come and experience the games. While announced games for the Xbox One X were out on the show floor, most, if not all of the units running the games were developer kits and not the matte gray retail models.

Per usual, the lines for premiere games were long, but Microsoft kept things organized, and gamers looked happy. Be sure to check out the full gallery below. If you haven't already, you can also check out our additional coverage of the Xbox One X, which includes its initial announcement, an up close look at the console, and an intimate building of an Xbox One X by hand.
