Ghostrunner 2 and two more games are free to claim on the Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store has begun a triple giveaway for PC gamers, and one of them is the parkour-heavy first-person action platformer Ghostrunner 2.

The Epic Games Store's freebies promotion just refreshed, meaning PC gamers have a brand-new collection of games to claim to their library. Replacing the sole Monument Valley offer from last week, Epic has now begun giveaways for Ghostrunner 2, Monument Valley 2, and The Battle of Polytopia. As always, you have seven days to add the latest indie game permanently to your Epic Games Store library.

Kicking things off, Ghostrunner 2 slides through as a genre-mix package touting heavy action and platforming elements. Played in the first-person perspective, you take the role of a cyber ninja wielding a katana. Combat involves timing attacks, parrying incoming hits, throwing shurikens, and zipping around environments to outmaneuver enemies and bosses.

Next, Monument Valley 2 comes in with even more optical illusion-heavy puzzle levels, adding onto what was given away just last week. The isometric-view title has players manipulating monuments, rotating pathways, and altering perspectives to uncover hidden routes. Just like the original, the campaign can be finished in less than two hours.

Lastly, strategy fans have The Battle of Polytopia to jump into. This is a 4X strategy game with a simplistic art style and a flat world to take over. There are 16 tribes players can choose to take on their empire-building journey. There are technologies to research, foes to defeat, land to expand to, and all the other systems of 4X games available here. Both solo and multiplayer options are also enabled.

Monument Valley 2

The Ghostrunner 2, Monument Valley 2, and The Battle of Polytopia giveaways on the Epic Games Store are live right now, and they will last until September 18. PC gamers can add the title to their library for no cost during the seven-day timeframe before the next freebies arrive.
