Google's Daydream View gets heavy discount, now costs just $29.98

The Google Daydream View VR headset first made its debut in 2016 and was updated the following year with some notable improvements. Although we have seen the headset discounted in the past, the latest price must be one of the best we have seen in a while.

As mentioned previously, the current Daydream View VR headset offers improvements over the original with its new lenses for improved field of view, a built-in heat sink to provide better cooling, and a remote control that can be used to better navigate menus and also take a more hands-on approach in games.

Despite the heavy discount, the Daydream View isn't much without a compatible handset. If you don't own one of the compatible handsets mentioned below, you'll most likely want to pass, as it won't be of much use.

If you're interested in purchasing the discounted VR headset, you can do so using the link in the source below. The headset is available in three colors, but only the Charcoal model is on sale for $29.98.
