It's already the middle of August, and Nvidia is back with another round of new games for its GeForce NOW supported list. The latest update to the cloud gaming program is carrying support for some major releases like Heretic + Hexen re-release as well as Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Definitive Edition.
It was during QuakeCon 2025 that Microsoft and id Software surprise announced Heretic + Hexen, a revamped re-release of the classic shooters with a massive amount of fresh content. The games were released immediately as well, and now, GeForce NOW subscribers with Steam or Xbox copies (or via PC Game Pass) can jump in to play via the cloud.
Speaking of remasters, the Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War Definitive Edition comes touting a revamped strategy experience. It has four massive campaigns, nine army types, and online play. All its enhanced visuals, improved camera, and other benefits are easily accessible via the cloud now.
Here are all the games added in the latest GeForce NOW update:
- Echoes of the End (New release on Steam, Aug. 12)
- 9 Kings (New release on Xbox, available on PC Game Pass, Aug. 14)
- Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Definitive Edition (New release on Steam, Aug. 14)
- Supraworld (New release on Steam, Aug. 15)
- Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time (New release on Steam and Battle.net)
- Guntouchables (Steam)
- Heretic + Hexen (Steam and Xbox, available on PC Game Pass)
Looking ahead, Nvidia's GeForce NOW plans for the remainder of VOID/BREAKER, Aztecs: The Last Sun, and The Rogue Prince of Persia. Find the full August reveal from a few weeks ago over here.
As always, keep in mind that, unlike subscription services like Game Pass, a copy of a game must be owned by the GeForce NOW member (or at least have a license via PC Game Pass) to start playing via Nvidia's cloud servers.
