Microsoft Health receives first major update for fixes and stability

Microsoft Band users will be pleased to hear that the Health app, which could do with some more spit and polish, has been updated to fix some bugs and add features for all the platforms it supports.

Microsoft has released its first major update for the Health app, which is required for any Microsoft Band user on Android, iOS and Windows Phone smartphones that fixes some pretty big bugs and adds new features, as well as stability improvements.

Microsoft Health 1.3.1111.2 (Windows Phone version) adds the following updates:

  • Corrected historical views for steps and calories.
  • Zip code validation correction.
  • Birth date validation correction.
  • The new app versions improves its handling of 0-minute duration sleep events.
  • Connected apps link is now available at first sign-up.
  • General app stability improvements.

The required update will get pushed automatically, but is also available through Google Play, Apple iTunes App Store or the Windows Phone Store for those that want to check it out.
