Microsoft rolls out KB3116908 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 version 1511

Microsoft has rolled out yet another cumulative update for Windows 10, version 1511 - the third of such updates since the November Update rolled out for Windows 10 almost a month ago. This new update brings the OS version up to 10586.17, but it's unclear what has been fixed or applied with this patch.

Although there's a details link, there are none!

The update, which is named: KB3116908, only applies to systems updated to version 1511 (November Update), and you can apply it by going in to All Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and then 'Check for updates', or simply wait for Windows 10 to automatically apply it.

It will require a reboot, and the process is quick to complete, so you won't experience much downtime. Let us know in the comments below if you come across anything that has been fixed or changed with the update.

Thanks for the tip Steve!
