Microsoft Teams update on iOS now lets you remove chat participants, and more

Microsoft Teams has received a bunch of new updates on iOS, introducing several new capabilities around managing team meetings and more. Some of the new changes are the capability to remove a participant from chat and the option to allow individuals outside an organization to join the conversation.

These particular capabilities are meant to give admins more control over who can participate in team chats. Additionally, there is a new option to dial in using Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) directly from the meeting details page. In a previous update to Teams for iOS, users gained the ability to make PSTN calls using the dial pad.

Also, your work number will now be listed automatically by the "Call me" option for meetings. Other new capabilities for Teams on iOS are the option to share your screen during a meeting right away without heading over to settings and receive notifications when online meetings begin. Plus, you can add another room even if you've already participated in an existing meeting.

Finally, the updated Teams also allows you to add channel meetings to your calendar, resume your file uploads after being disconnected, and see live event details and share the event invitation link. The update bumps up the app's version to 1.0.73 and it's available to download from the Apple App Store.
